He's a troll.  That's all there is to it.  People keep giving him attention and it feeds him.

True. I have hm on Ignore but some of you idiots don’t. Not directed at you idiots who already have him on Ignore, like me.
Normally I just blow past his💩 but not today. A victory of the gutter and the despicable.

I think Slay goes and Rodgers stays.  Rodgers isn't getting starter money

That would be my bet yeah. Rodgers has experience and showed this year he can be a solid player but he’s not going to block a younger player from starting if they felt that player was ready.

I sure hope so.  The guy seems super genuine and grateful for everything that has happened since he came over.

Hurts was so incredibly good in the game

Pretty good for a power back pretending to be quarterback

This dude has looked like he's enjoyed life maybe twice. Sunday, and whatever day he had the tongue out photo. Every picture and interview he's ever in looks like he'd rather be at home watching paint dry and listening to a HAM radio

Top plays in franchise history, SB era?  (No particular order)

Philly Special
Graham strip sack of Brady
Corey Clement back of the end zone TD
Jeffery deep TD
Dejean pick 6
Baun int
Hurts to Smith SB
Williams/Carter destroy Mahomes
4th and 26
Barkley pounding his helmet in the snow on his long TD run
Barkley long TD run 1st play against Commanders
Willis to Troy Vincent lateral 104 yard pick 6 against Cowboys
Lito pick 6 in TO’s return to the Linc
Double doink
Jake Elliott 62 yard game winner NYG
Desean muffed punt return for TD against Giants

2004 and 2022 Eagles feel under-represented here.  They didn’t win it all, but any season that went to a SB should have something worth mentioning…

Individual amazing plays that were of minimal significance:
Dawkplex
Barkley backwards hurdle
One no one will remember but I always loved…Buckhalter somersaulting and flipping out of bounds while reaching around the pylon for the TD, against Miami in 2003.
Vick deep ball to Desean against Redskins
Randall to Fred Barnett against the Bills (a bit before my time)

Westbrook 84 yard punt return against the Giants

The next person that says that on this board (in a serious manner) should get auto banned.

if not - everyone should just agree to answer every single post of theirs, no matter what they say:    Brilliant!

First of all, wow, can't believe I actually caught up for a second. To prevent tldr; I'm going to put up a few posts.

I'll start with Jason. That is an Eagles family through and through and will always be an Eagles family. He was put in a tough spot over the love of his brother but that heart bleeds green. I don't know anyone here who wouldn't be devastated by their brother receiving a beat down of that proportion. That's the kind of beat down that causes nightmares and extended trauma. They were rolling and then just got crushed on the biggest stage in the biggest moment. The Chiefs are going to have a lot of natural anxiety when we play them next year. We crush them again in the regular season and it may break that team. It may put so much fear in their hearts and an inevitability that no matter what they do they aren't winning against us in the super bowl so why bother.

Howie is the magic man when it comes to salary cap. Don't care if we have to overpay 2 studs like Baun & Williams. Williams snap count increased the last several games and his numbers went up. You are projecting somewhat with him, but if Hargrave can get $84M for 4 years, I don't see why Williams can't as well.

All other free agents are collateral damage and replaceable to make sure this Superbowl defense doesnt miss a beat. We can survive Slay & Sweat but that's it. Should be able to stagger contracts here on for key defensive guys coming up in next few years. And Huff's contract can be purged after this year to make room on payroll.

We may lose a key young guy or 2 at some point. But not ready to start doing that now. Howie can figure it out as it all plays out and find out who is for real and consistent. Already deferred a Dean large contract for this offseason, til we see how he recovers.

I'm trying to find a hi res of the one with Hurts on the ground with the Lombardi. Thinking about making that into a metal poster. I've seen 1618X1365

Watching The Turning Point right now... man this was a beautiful game. I wanted the shutout BADLY, but I can live with how it went. Everyone on the planet knows how we stomped the snizz out of them.

I do think we need to come away with at least one EDGE and DT. Doesn’t need to be our first two picks, but the class is too deep and the need is there.

OL is pretty weak, especially tackle. Maybe we grab one if someone unexpectedly falls, but because of how weak the class is if anything I expect them to get over drafted.

CB is where I’m expecting some opportunities to be. A couple injured top prospects and a few really talented guys who had disappointing years but have all the traits to be plus starters. If Darien Porter weren’t 25 I’d be alllll over him.

For the Eagles the value in the OL draft is in highly athletic, but inexperienced players who can matriculate into Stoutland University.  It is my understanding that there are several who fit that mold.

I'm using ignore for every active Hurts hater (if any are showing their faces and still boorishly ignorant)

Remind me to remove the Jason Kelce hater from ignore in September

This is the ONLY SB in history where the winner traded pity points for clock and then gave up another one to backups. Its literally never happened before. We don't care if you score 2 or 3 times is a hell of a flex.

I'm wondering what was the earliest Gatorade Dunk, do we have it? Or is there an earlier one? If that's even known lol.

Just criticizing Hurts in a game this season makes you a hater apparently

There are a lot of people on this team that deserve to get paid. No matter where they go or what they do, they will always be a member of the Eagles Super Bowl Alumni. They will always and forever be tied to our memories, our hearts and sports history in Philadelphia. There is no guarantee how many years they'll get to make money and provide a future for their family. If it's in their heart to go get paid, I'll never begrudge them that. Go get paid but come back and retire as an Eagle.

I trust in Howie to work whatever magic that he can with the numbers. It's hard to get much done the year after winning because all those incentives got paid out. If they can't make it here, go get that paper, but know that we'll always remember them and pull for them as long as they aren't on the opposing sideline.

Based on who is currently under contract for 2025, LB is a huge need.  Baun and Burks are UFA, with Dean coming off a major injury and BVS as well, who didn't play LB this year.

This team needs Baun back, and frankly should bring back Burks as well.  If they both walk, then the cupboard will be pretty bare.  So, it needs to be taken care of quickly, especially Baun.  They can't wait around on that.  I expect that they will get Baun done quickly, but until it's done it's a massive concern.

I agree it is a massive concern, but the straightforward resolutions to that concern are as plain as the nose on your face.

I personally don’t consider FA negotiations with your own FAs as a "need.”  They are simply part of the nuts and bolts of doing business.  It is tha same as getting up each weekday and going to work. Going to work isn’t a "need” for most people.  It is part of the rhythm of life.

@VaBeach_Eagle Ok, so there was another SB that may qualify for pity points for clock.

DC vs Buffalo

Terry Hoage is making tackles left and right for DC as they played prevent after a 37-10 lead.

Jim Kelly is even more horrific realizing 2 of his SB TD passes were pity.

I know what they are going through right now. I've been so locked in after an extended competition that I didn't know how to step away. It took me weeks before I was able to walk away and go enjoy life. I hope the parade helps reset their mindset. Take their families to Disney World or go spend a few weeks on a tropical island drinking Mai Tai's. There will be plenty of time in the coming months to reset and refocus. It's imperative that they step away and refresh mentally and physically.

Don't worry, we fans, will hold down the fort. We'll try not to burn it down while they're gone but no promises.
