I moved a bunch of his posts to a new topic in RnR, makes it look like he's just ranting alone to himself.

You mean he wasn't?  🤔.  I thought he was talking to the voices in his head.    Poor guy.  He actually thought we cared what he had to say.

Apologies if already posted (from pff so grains of salt and all that.)

Jalen Hurts thrived vs. the blitz

There aren’t many certainties in life, but one is seemingly Steve Spagnuolo’s blitz packages dictating games every January. Such was the case again in the 2024 AFC Championship game, with the Bills’ last-dash fourth-down try thwarted by Kansas City's pressure look.

In Super Bowl 57, Hurts played a fantastic overall game, and blitz recognition was a big component. While being blitzed on 42.9% of his dropbacks, Hurts completed 13 of his 18 passes for a 90.8 PFF passing grade, three big-time throws and zero turnover-worthy plays. The play below was Hurts' most remarkable work in evading extra pressure to move the chains, but he regularly got the ball out in rhythm to foil Spagnuolo’s plan.

Hurts was better against the blitz two years ago (74.5 PFF passing grade) than in 2024 (65.5), something that reflects his waning overall play. Whether or not Spagnuolo elects to blitz at the same frequency — or if he holds back because of how well Hurts did in Super Bowl 57 — will be telling.

I don't feel any sadness.

He's playing like this on the field too. Doesn't give full effort. Not producing in the playoffs.

Graham should take 20 of his snaps.

I consider myself a prime Sweat hater but there's no way Graham could fill in for 20 snaps.

And I'll give the benefit of the doubt to Sweat and assume he was referring to his performance in the SB being the biggest moment of his life, not necessarily his next contract.  That's just an honest take and if thats what motivates him, then go ball out and earn a trillion dollars for all I care.  We just need him for one more game

It's been a matter of which Hurts we see

It's a good position to be in that you're not dreading certain players from getting big contracts with other teams

We just finished a new hope. We are now in Act II 'Racism strikes back".

Rivalries are the antithesis of what a message board should be … the free flow of educational information back and forth between the participants.  Unfortunately, it often fails in the free flow part of that when participants place being "right” at the top of their goals.

It’s not that serious. You and @LeanMeanGM need to hug and make up.

But, I am dreading others getting big contracts from other teams.

International muppets, actually.

He’s looking for a big pay day and it’ll be his last chance to get one. Some team like the Jags or Dolphins will give him what he seeks and it’ll be 3-4 years too many.
