It's hard to believe they actually made the Super Bowl a few years back. Does anyone even remember one thing about the Rams-Bengals SB? Maybe one of the most forgettable SB of the modern era.

This guy is a stud. Watch a lot of AFC games. Their defense stinks, but he always stands out. Pretty consistent production throughout the year. 17.5 sàcks per year. The last 2 years. I have a weird feeling Howie jumps on this.

Eagles Scout Room, if you're on here, you're a moron. Comparing Connor Barwin to Acho, Singleton and Morrow is a bad look. He was a fantastic Eagle.

At his age, I'm not sure 3/90 will be needed. Maybe add 2 years to his existing deal for 60mm. Makes it 3/75, but the extension is 2/60. 45mm of it gteed. 

Here's the trade. Jordan Davis and the Jets 3rd rounder next year to the Bengals. After thinking about it, didn't think our late 3rd rounder by itself is enough here. I absolutely do that deal.

Yup Barwin was a pro bowl 34 edge, the other three are all journeyman 43 off ball LBs.

Too steep for an aging 1 year rental.

@bpac55 Barwin was 2nd team all pro here. He was also more of an edge than an ILB. I loved Barwin. I think he is still with the Eagles (or came back) He was at the parade. You are 100% correct that he sticks out in that grouping.

 

If what that tweet was trying to say is that its nice not having a Mark Simoneau equivalent at LB, yes.

I agree that 'ring chasing' isn't primary for most NFL players but somebody 31 years old and been to one Super Bowl and lost it. I wonder if going to a team that is likely to at least be in the playoffs next year will be a consideration. Another consideration for him, if he's not in denial, is that he's 31 years old. There's a whole lot more of his NFL career behind him than there is in front of him.

We can’t afford Hendrickson just like we can’t afford Garrett.

I expect us to continue building through the draft and cheap FAs.  Splash moves aren’t realistic.
