Okay, I’ll bite for the sake of argument/discussion.  What is gained by jettisoning Huff?  How does jettisoning him make the team better?

Low key a little disappointed by the jersey’s from the NFL.com shop…should have read when i ordered, but the customs went so quick.  A lot of money for a printed jersey.

That’s what happens when you don’t use the fanatics link and send a little money the boards way hahaha

4 is the max

With the new comp picks for minority hires can a team have more than 4?

Saints extend cap hell to 2027!

2025 and 2026 were already broken years. They just pushed Carr's salary into bonus.

Other teams have the flexibility to maneuver like this. Mickey Loomis sold his soul to the cap hell devil 8 years ago.

It was cute when they won 11,12,13 games with Brees. Now its just sad.

I don't think they come from the same formula.

SF got a bunch for McDaniel, Carthon, Ryans, and maybe Saleh too.

Researching if they got more than 4 might be the best way to prove it.

What you suggesting we get some paint out for Kellen?

If Fangio isn’t saying something, aren’t we speculating on what his long term thinking is?

You and others appear to want to rush to judgment.  What do you gain by doing so?

Who cares?

Interestingly, I don’t remember the Eagles getting a comp pick for Berry.

"That is exactly what this rewards policy does. It really rewards a club and an organization and leaders for developing great talent who happen to be diverse and then get the opportunity to become a general manager or a head coach at another club."

Developing these candidates allowed the 49ers to accumulate extra draft picks. The team traded a 2023 second-round pick, 2023 third-round pick, 2023 fourth-round pick and 2024 fifth-round pick to Carolina in October for star running back Christian McCaffrey.

"We're fortunate that some different avenues, minority coaches that brought us some picks. I think that empowers you to do something like this because you have a couple of comp threes, and you'll get more in the future with things of that nature," Niners GM John Lynch said.

The Browns (Kwesi Adofo Mensah), Saints (Terry Fontenot), Rams (Brad Holmes), Chiefs (Ryan Poles) and Eagles (Andrew Barry) have also received two, third-round picks for developing minority candidates.”

Those aren’t considered comp picks technically speaking so they don’t apply to the max. So yea, you could have more picks awarded to you.

If I’m remembering correctly Berry made his move one year before they introduced the whole minority pick system.

Anyone else getting nervous we haven’t exercised Picketts 5th year option yet?

Separate because those technically are called some other type of picks.

Not that this award means anything, I honestly never even heard of it, but this just shows you the level of shilling that goes out there with LA and NY teams. Why give the award to the acquisition who had the greatest RB season in NFL history, won a Super Bowl, and was the story of the entire NFL season when you can give it to a guy who's played like 8 games for his new team so far?

Finally got my commemorative Sports Illustrated. Looks good next to Philly Special.

Did yours ship from somewhere in Illinois from something called "CDS Global"?

I placed my SI orders back when they first went up, and I never got a shipping confirmation email, but I was recently charged on my card from Sports Illustrated and I have an inbound tracking number coming from Illinois from something called CDS Global. Not sure if it's SI though because I placed several online orders for all sorts of things in recent weeks and it could be any of them.

Watching that 47-minute Eagles season highlights video. Goedert vs the Saints was such an elite grown-man performance. Also, Hurts fourth down deep shots to Brown are unstoppable unless the refs throw a flag.

Yeah, CDS Global.

I've heard everyone's just waiting for Metcalf to go to New England.

All the cap space in the world, enough picks to spend, and it's probably the biggest need on offense they have.
