The game passed by Gruden 25 years ago, he managed a SB on a stacked team in a rigged game and then systematically destroyed the team with his inability to understand how to run things.  Did the same destruction in every stop after.

Still fun to listen to him

No thanks on Sawyer or Tuimoloau.  Yes on Williams and Stewart.

What's your reasoning on that?

Sawyer, IMO, is much like BG just in a bigger body. Non-flashy but steady as they come DE.

I think Tuimoloau can play up and down the DL.

This is pick 32 we're talking about so give me solid, steady production.

I wonder who we will get as QB coach assuming Patullo is the guy. Could see Leftwich or Pep Hamilton.  Not sure of ties to Sirriani

Doubtful we get pep he just signed as oc for Maryland

That's me, too, most of the time. SO much so that when it's not there, it's like... "OMG, silence! Wow!" Then the next day it's back.

Too much M16 fire and explosions in the Army without any hearing protection is what did it to me.

Hope you made a claim against the 3M class action, if applicable.

Not that they have the cap space, but, maybe the Saints could be a destination to unload Bryce Huff?

The Eagles have Dotson, Wilson & Smith.  I don't see them spending any resources on WR this offseason at all

I tend to agree. I do think there is a world where a WR is clearly BPA and we take them, but obviously it’s an unlikely situation.

We might trade down in the case which is what I expect anyway.

5yrs is a long time, also the roster is so strong now because the FO has managed to string together an unprecedented number of hits in the draft. Just thinking about keeping that streak going…

I get it, but we still have Dotson on the roster and I’m not sure how he makes much of an impact.

I’ll put it this way — Savion Williams has more upside, a clearer path to contribute within the offense, can play outside if Brown or Smith get injured, and will only cost a second or third round pick.

That’s a much more enticing opportunity in my eyes than taking Egbuka.

Yeah Hurts is the future if you could get a 2nd rd pick for McKee you do it.  Honestly I think that's probably too much to ask for despite the love here. He's never even played an nfl game against a team that wasn't the Giants in week 18

Moore has a really good first-hand sense of what McKee can and can not do.  He will be considering McKee vs Rattler.

That’s fine - just part of the wider BPA vs need conversation that is had every year.

WR would be such a waste of resources in the top 100. I would like a day 3 pick that can be more explosive than Ainias Smith. Smith is too small/slow to play.

I feel like they underachieved in college. I don't think they're terrible players.   I don't think they'll project well to the next level.

@LeanMeanGM so I'm playing around with Spotrac and the Saints cap. It looks like they have quite a few players who can convert their bonuses by adding on void years if I'm reading it right and what I'm doing is possible.

By converting the bonuses of Derek Carr, Cameron Jordan, Demario Davis, Cesar Ruiz and Erik McCoy I have them already at $7 million under the cap, nearly a $57 million cap swing. A few more of the same has them at $14 million.

Is this a realistic outlook for how they will have to go about business? They are going to have to d some damage to their cap down the road just to fit this year.

It was very surprising to see both Campbell and Wilson get quite a few snaps in the first half. I certainly didn't see that coming.

I’m probably in the minority, but I believe Huff has more value to the Eagles as an Eagle than as not an Eagle.  If he is still in the dog house when the preseason games happen then trading him then makes sense.

Christian Parker interviewing for the Saints DC job. Know they can’t keep him forever but that’ll suck losing him. He did a great job this year.

Jack Sawyer had one hell of a 2024 season. National Champion, 9 sacks, 9 TFL, 1INT, 7 passes defended, 3 FF, 3 FR and 2 TD off of fumbles. Where he needs to be better is TFL. He's still an ascending player IMO.

BG had 20 TFL and 10 sacks as a JR and 26 TFL and 10.5 sacks as a SR, that's ridiculous production.

Dotson was far better than Quez and had a couple of key catches in the end of the year.  He'll never put up any numbers but Hurts did start to find him a bit and Dotson caught the ball when it was thrown his way.  I'm happy to roll with him as the #3.

If Parker goes to NO as DC, you have to wonder if the Eagles re-sign Rodgers and see if the Saints would overpay for Ringo? I don't want the Eagles to move on from Ringo, but I'm just looking at situations where the Eagles have connections, potential position logjams and needs on other teams.

At the bottom of the 1st round, you are probably looking at somebody like Karlaftis.  Not super athletic but productive and hard working.

I know, I'm just trying to figure out how to get my favorite player in the draft. Have loved watching Mason Graham play the last few years.

I wouldn't be shocked to see them trade up if a player falls though. This roster is nearly set. They don't have a lot of room to add a huge draft class. As of today, they have 7 picks. I see them making 4-5 picks like 2018.

yep I said the same thing yesterday. This is a move up and make fewer picks kind of draft. Dont need to trade out because theyre already slated to have a bunch of extra picks next year. Its a move up year.
