I disagree.  He has an interesting approach at times but his posts make you think and that garners discussion.

Watching Lane remind the DL of those Zero Sacks shirts the KC OL wore at their parade… how come none of Sweat, Davis, Williams, Graham wore a Six Sacks shirt to the parade?

Someone asked what discussions must have happened before the game that lead to Sirianni counting sacks during the game. Now we know.

I think the eagles didnt need some stupid shirt because their domination was proved on the field.

I have no doubt it was brought up a lot. How could it not be?

Yeah, 10% disabled makes you 90% abled, so another 10% disabled added to that doesn't make you 20% disabled, it makes you 19% disabled since 10% of 90% is 9%, so now you're 81% abled and another 10% would make you 27.1% and so on. Of course, they round up or down, accordingly. So 19% is rounded up to 20%, so same difference. But at some point, you could have a 10% disability that doesn't really do anything.

Good math doesn’t mean it is a good formula.  Sounds like the same moron that came up with worker’s compensation disability ( @NCiggles knows what I am talking about) must have thought this one up.  Fire all the idiots in that position, there is a better way. Should be as simple as you were willing to put up your life for the rest of us, so we give you healthcare for life.  Period.  Plain and simple.  It’s not 10%, reported or not crap. Its duty met, duty owed.  He’ll it is probably cheaper doing away with explanations, paperwork, formulas etc.  Sorry for the rant but crap, makes me want to go out and hit the sled.

Is there really a difference? It’s basically Division III.  I watched Pumphrey light up my Cougars.  Statistically, he was the best RB out there when drafted.

Eagles started drafting better when Joe Douglas left.   Howie turned out to be a better football guy after 20 years on the job than a former OL scout from a D3 school. Go figure

I'm dealing with them right now. What a pain in the ass they are.

Why would we trade a QB with his upside on a rookie deal? I don’t understand this idea. He won’t net us nearly enough to be worth it.

Absolutely agree. It looks to me like we hit a home run on the McKee pick. Why is everyone in such a rush to see him sent out of the building?

They think bec Moore is in NO that he’ll grossly overpay for a backup qb. I have a bridge to sell to those folks who think that

Hes a small school guy who the online scouting community hasnt caught on to much yet. I dont think hes a mid-late round guy. I dont see why hes not a 2nd or 3rd round guy. Probably will be.

Testing will be big for him, but with the number of legit DL prospects I think he’s a day 3 pick.

I think hes going to test well. 4.4s at his size with a good vert, day 2 pick.

Unless he bombs other drills somehow.

Hey, my 10% gives me a whopping $185 per month plus $5,000 off my property tax assessment

He has the "I’m so reasonable” approach to the point it’s laughable.

”We just won the Super Bowl, we’re looking for a first round pick who will sit on the bench for 2 years learning and a second rounder who can contribute on special teams.”

Becton is hardly a finished product.  Needs better conditioning and at least another year with Stout.  He was the fifth best OL on the Eagles and not that much better than Steen.  Well the Eagles showed him what a top notch strength and training department looks like.  The team embraced him and made him feel at home.  And no one else has Ms. Kathy.  He can sign a big contract and flame out and a disjointed place or recognize that a two year contract extension with the Birds is his best route to success.

Huff was kind of a one year wonder last year.  I wonder if Howie has any of the same concerns about Baun.  Unfortunately, the biggest hole going into free agency is ILB.  Howie traditionally uses free agency to fill holes.  Best solution this year is to fill ILB internally by extending Baun and considering extending Burks.

After ILB, it’s principally depth.  OL - Fred, Driscoll, Bates, Becton, Toth (and of course, Clark) are free agents  and no back up C

OLB - Sweat is a FA and Graham likely should retire

DT - Williams is a free agent

CB - Bradberry is gone, Rodgers, Maddox are free agents and Slay has that $16 million whammee

TE - Uzomah, Stoll gone, no one signed after 2025.

I doubt Howie pursues much outside the team in free agency.  2025 was always about dealing with Cox, Kelce, Graham, Bradberry and possibly Slay dead money.

Always BPA.  That said, Howie drafts for the future.  Not a good year to need OL, so I expect some of the back ups will extend. Not a bad year for OLB/DE and DT so I would not be surprised to see the depth need addressed in the draft.

Decent TE year and with the Goedert age/ bonus and Calcaterra’s last year, I suspect we see addressed in the draft although Howie is already collecting blocking TEs

CB - Maddox could return cheaply or they might go with A J Woods.  Here all season on PS.  Maddox sized and similar athleticism. But if Slay and Rodgers go, another outside corner is a must.

Want a hint as to positions Howie might look at in the draft:

After 2025
Unrestricted: Reed Blankenship, Grant Calcaterra, Jordan Davis (if option isn't picked up), Nakobe Dean, Jahan Dotson (if option isn't picked up), Dallas Goedert, Cam Jurgens, Braden Mann, Kenny Pickett, Darius Slay

Not meaning to be political or anything like that but "not service related” pisses me off.  VA should, by law, presume it is service related.  If any of us deserve top flight healthcare, it’s not the bozos in Congress or the Cabinet, it’s folks that put their lives on the line to keep us free.  ANYTHING else just pisses me off.

I honestly have no issue with how the claim reviewers do things…tough tough job.  The system can be easily played.  It all depends on how good and smart your doctor is.  Or if you have a friend with a DD214 that shows them in the same place as you to write a letter about something that happened.

Now how the VA functions as a whole…we can def leave that discussion out of here!  Because….ugh

Yup, from 90 to 100 it’s 12 (if i remember the VA math correctly) 10 % claims.  In all honestly it makes sense to not need a sliding and subjective scale on things.  And me saying I’m 195% disabled would make zero sense!

If I was 100%, I wouldn't have to pay either. What state do you live in?

I wonder what the Eagles strength and conditioning team has planned for Jaylx Hunt as he moves in to season 2. He's 6-3 252 and showed that he has a dominant bull rush. Should his focus be 100% on technique and adding different pass rush moves or do we think they might want to get him up to 260? Seeing his strength was surprising to say the least this year.

Fangio values the ability to cover and I don't see him prioritizing size over speed on the edge. Hunt has some unique qualities due to his background as a DB and will help Fangio with that versatility at OLB. I'm sure he'll work on his strength and technique, but don't expect them to ask him to add weight.
