The issue with Milton Williams, and the reason to let someone else overpay him, is that it seems highly possible/likely that his success is due to playing next to Jalen Carter. And the best evidence o

Man that would be such a downgrade. Both of these guys would be, hence them trying to sign Justin Reid.

It was reported that they expressed "interest" in Reid.  That is agent speak for Howie checking in on the asking price.

Why sign Reid if their argument to trade CJGJ was to spend less cash this season?

Julian Blackmon is a name that's out there but hasn't been discussed much.   He'd be cheap on a one year prove it deal, but is still only 26 years old.

He played 16 games this past year on a one year deal for about $1.3M.   Give him some incentives, a chance to play for a winner, and let him compete for that other spot opposite Blankenship.

There were different reports. One was we were very close to signing him. Maybe they wanted to move on from CJ regardless. Still, we will be in trouble if Brown or McCollum is the appointed starter

Trading for Green may mean Becton is leaving via FA.  Stouland has another under-achiever to develop into performer.

McCollum is god awful.  If he starts the defense is in big trouble, just like they were anytime he was on the field last season.

Rap: Dalvin Tomlinson gets 2 years, for $29M with $16M guaranteed. A really nice deal.

How in the hell do all these dudes get cut in their 30s and get a pay raise? These teams are so dumb. Just trade a 7 for them and keep them at their cheaper contract.

The 6ers lost to Toronto which was extremely important in the race for lower seeding.

Running back controversy!!!!

Seriously though, a healthy Dillon could be interesting behind this line. He could also be cut this summer.

"This means they're trading Barkley!"

This is a very deep RB draft. No reason why we won’t draft one, especially with a million round 5 picks.

Here are the Eagles' 2025 Draft picks as of now:

  • Round 1, Pick 32 - Edge or DT
  • Round 2, Pick 64 - Edge or DT
  • Round 3, Pick 96 - Receiving TE or Safety or DT
  • Round 4, Pick 134 - developmental OL depth or receiving TE
  • Round 5, Pick 161 (from Houston) - ILB depth or developmental OL depth
  • Round 5, Pick 164 (from Cleveland) - RB depth or ILB depth
  • Round 5, Pick 165 (from Washington) - BPA
  • Round 5, Pick 168 - blocking TE (Jackson Hawes)

You guys think they lost 7 impact players? Really? The sky really is always falling around here. Free agency started like 3 hours ago

impact for @hputenis is the thwack that he gets when his belly hits her butt cheeks.

Yeah we lost some guys on defense and will probably not be a #1 defense again.  Big deal.  As long as we rank somewhere in the top 10-15 we'll be good.

Mark my words … back to back #1s.

Green is a scrub reclamation project.

If Becton leaves, Steen replaces him.

Becton doesn't subtract from our comp picks right?

No he doesn’t, but if he signs here, he doesn’t add to our Comp Picks.

Well that's the part that scares me a bit, actually.  I'm guessing this was pointed out to him.  Perhaps several times.  Not every player is a good learner, no matter the ability of the coach.  Hope I'm wrong

Sounds like Jimbo level coaching "pointed out to him”.  That’s not what Stout does.  His practices are all about changing muscle memory with an understanding of why.

I’m intrigued by Devin Duvernay as a third wave addition. Won’t affect comp picks and can serve as a depth WR and KR/PR. Our WR 4/5 are completely replaceable.

Yeah he was a rich man’s Aenias Smith at one point

Mac Jones to the 49ers. I wonder now how much truth those Mac Jones over Trey Lance rumors had when they traded up in 2021.

Gainwell got little

Really surprised Eagles didn’t match that, unless playing time was the ultimate factor for him

Tankathon big board as our draft

32- Donovan Ezeiruaku, edge

64- Princley Umanmielen, edge

96- Ashton Gillotte, edge

134- Jamon Dumas-Johnson

Howie loves the edges.

My neighbors kid. Good kid, but nan.

I am too. He’s a nice role player.

I’ve watched plenty of AJ Dillon. He’s as meh as it gets.

Might want to get your eyes checked. 6'0 250 pound RB's who can average over 4 YPC, and are legit options as both receivers and pass blockers don't grow on trees. A healthy Dillon is a massive upgrade to Gainwell.
