The word on Uche is he lost some explosion due to various leg injuries. If he's healthy, he's another toy for Fangio, as can play off ball linebacker or edge. Imagine Huff is a goner. Howie adding to lost depth all before the draft.

With Ojulari, Uche, and Huff...you are going to get one guy that plays well as a low snap edge rusher in rotation, one guy that eats snaps and doesn't play well, and one guy that gets cut.

Everyone is going to think that will be Ojulari, Uche, and Huff in that order.

But I'm not so sure who is who in this.  What I am sure of, however, is that Jalyx Hunt better grow into the starter, because none of these 3 are it.

I guess the answer to that question coincides with how good Hunt and Nolan look in 2025.

It also depends on who they draft this April.  Next spring they might be looking at Ojulari on a non-rookie contract versus a 2025 drafted Edge in the second year of a rookie contract.

Agree with others can't imagine Huff on this team on opening day.

He can’t be cut.

If you trade him, you have to give up draft value.  Is Howie seriously going to allow himself to be on the arse end of draft capital and a bad player salary dump trade?

He's got the draft capital saved up to allow him to get out of the big mistake without a massive hit.  If they toss away a 5th (they have 4) to get a 7th back, and get out of the Huff deal... that's a good trade for this team.

Trading for grimes has been good. Martin has been awful for the Mavs. Also drafting McCain and maxey. That’s about it though.

Seems to draft decently here - it’s all of the other moves that suck. Since CoAngelo, into Brand, to Morey the building of the team has been shortsighted and obtuse. 

Smith, Hunt, Ojulari, draft pick, Uche is a solid EDGE rotation.
