He gets to full speed quickly, but full speed is probably around 4.55-4.60 (forty). Looks like he runs kind of upright. I doubt he ever breaks 21mph. I really don't see a Barkley resemblance  in speed.

It depends on when youre looking at him but he wishes he was at a 4.55-4.60. At times hes looking like a 5.94

Good post

I would love to trade up for LB Carson Schwesinger. Becoming one of my favorite guys in the draft. Baldy has one of his quick breakdowns that highlights his speed and sideline to sideline ability but it's only on instagram and facebook and it won't upload here properly.
But instincts, smarts, speed and athleticism, cover ability. I think he fits like a glove in Vic's defense.

Hey I deleted it literally in a second

It was suppose to be Carson Schwesinger baldys breakdown but it's only on Facebook and instagram and it's not posting here properly so I just deleted them.

TLDR

@vikas83

Talk about bad teams finally finding a good young QB and then doing dumb stuff

By now, most of you have probably figured out that I’m a huge Nolan Smith fan, am cautiously bullish on Jalyx Hunt, and am not a believer in Ojulari, Uche, or Huff.

Aside from being more pessimistic on their upside and ability to contribute than most, I also don’t understand their fit.  They all seem most equipped to rotate with Nolan Smith.  Their size, poor run defense, general inability to set an edge, and solitary strength of pinning back and rushing the passer from as wide of an angle as possible makes it feel like they are better suited to do Nolan Smith’s job.

I certainly want to keep Smith fresh and give him some breathers, but aren’t we ideally projecting Smith as a top flight edge for next year with a (hopefully) quick recovery?

Who is putting their hand in the dirt as Jalyx Hunt insurance/competition/rotation and Sweat replacement?

Half good (the illegal contact but holding on O is ten yards so if they did that with defensive holding, it’s a first down).

we dont know. possibly calais campbell, after the draft.

Eagles trivia question, honors system, no internet.

There is an NFL draft year where the 1st and 2nd overall picks both played for the Eagles.  2 other first round picks from this draft played for the Eagles.  What was the year and who were the players?

Rather than ask if it’s going to be anyone else, I’m more curious if we are going to see any of the Uche/Ojulari/Huff group try to do that job along with Hunt.

Guessing it has to be Sam Bradford and someone else.

Graham would be one of the others. 2010

He looks ok, same tier as Darius Alexander. Maybe he can be a trade up option in round 2, similar to what we did last year with Coop.

There such a long list of pretty much equivalent DTs in the Top 50 and Top 100 that waiting in place, or taking a modest trade down makes much more sense.

Sammy and Suh. Graham. Ryan Matthews?

He needs to follow Kelce and Graham in terms of timeline, and not Peters.  They left while they were still playing at a high level.  Peters last few years were brutal.

There was def a drop off, but a lot of the brutality of it was the fact that he could only go about 15-20 snaps before needing a break or tweaking his ankle.

I’m pretty sure he’s still part of the trivia question of…who are the only 2 players to earn over $100m in their career that started as UDFA’s.  Not sure if there’s been a third yet.

Would be Suh at 2 in that Bradford draft. The obscure one i believe is Ryan Mathews who came here during the chip years. If it’s Mathews it’s cause i remember laughing at the chargers pick and then the next pick was ours and we took Graham and the board had a meltdown. Only reason i questioning if it was that draft was cause 2011 everyone also had a meltdown due to Watkins. I just remember Mathews was taken before one of the meltdowns

Walker doesn’t have any say in the trade, whether he’d be a good soldier w/o a contract if traded here… we’ll say yes. So, would you trade 32 for 2yrs and a comp (also note that as a #1 pick, who’s played reasonably well his club option won’t be cheap)? Is 32 even realistic compensation for JAX given the bonus they are eating?

32 is probably too rich would start with a 2026 3rd plus Huff.

The trade for Dillon probably moved that back to late Day 3 or maybe even UDFA.

A UDFA RB I like is Lan Larison from UC Davis

A 1 year deal for him, with undisclosed salary this much later, makes me think there is minimal investment.  I doubt it changes much if anything.  I said it when he was signed... Rashaad Penny 2.0.

Um, of the Eagles OL, only Keegan and Jurgens have not played T. In fact, the stance issue with Green is partly because he never changed his stance to G from T.  Not sure I agree that there is a "list of growing needs”.  In contrast, I believe there is a number of positions that could see an upgrade versus glaring holes.  The exception is C, where only Toth has experience at C. (Well, who knows their intent as to Driscoll).  Let’s not pretend that Fred was good.  He was serviceable.

I am very curious what Stout will do with Green.   With Seumalo, he switched him to having his feet even, like a center, and as a result he really improved.   I wonder if he can have a similar impact on Green.

I'd absolutely trade pick 32. I doubt Jax would do it and I do think he'd want a new contract. Beyond that if Howie thought it were realistic he probably wouldn't have signed Ojulari so I think this is just fodder

That language does nothing to address open field pushing of the ball carrier forward.  I can’t see it getting even half the votes much less three quarters.

That is the intent of the language. Every team takes advantage of the "pushing" when the ball carrier is still on his feet and not going down. This way, they hope to get enough votes from teams that can't replicate the Eagles' success on QB sneaks.

I was curious how they would be able to remove that play without removing the "push" element. Since there is zero injury data to use to ban the play, the packers might as well just say, "Please don't let the Eagles run QB sneaks in short yardage situations."

The Eagles could redesign the play by bringing in two more linemen , have them report as eligible, line them up on either side of the QB and have them push the guards or a guard and center. No matter what, the Eagles will continue to adapt the play and use the same philosophy in short yardage situations.

If the NFL bans that play, I hope the Eagles next year start proposing banning intentional grounding. I don't have a problem with throwing the ball away out of bounds or out of the back of the endzone. But throwing the ball intentionally at a receiver's (usually a RB that is staying back to block) heels is in fact "intentional" and is "grounding." I'd also like to see this applied to "clocking" for the same literal reasons. Why am I proposing this? Because it looks like a tennis tantrum and not a football play. It isn't aesthetically pleasing.

There has to be some plan at backup LT. Mailata has missed games.  I can't imagine that the plan would be to hope you draft a guy capable of backing up at LT and if not pick up any old guy.

Ok.  But does that mean you go with a bad plan?
