I'm all for the Eagles maintaining a pipeline of drafting, ready-made NFL players from the SEC. It has proven to be an immense wealth of talent. But is the FOs new m.o. to ONLY draft and retain (majority) Georgia players?

Georgia has been the main source of college players for the Eagles in recent years.  Not sure if there is some kind of link to the coaches there.

The team has been drafting young players, give them PT to develop.  Good coaches are essential for this scheme to work effectively.  Have been wondering if they will hire some of their coaches as assistants.

You splurged on a subscription, big spender.

We've gotten to the point of free agency where they are just making names up and putting them under pictures from the 70s

Never trust a man with two first names.

I always take Florio with a grain of salt (and try not to take Chris Simms at all) but Florio is a lawyer and he is pretty good with fine print.

The Packers pathetic Tush Push rule will do nothing. The word IMMEDIATELY is in the rule. If both guys take one step and then push, the play is still legal by definition of this stupid proposal.

Or one with two last names.

@paco Nice Graph.

I really like this nugget. The Marlins have won 2 World Series since the Cowboys made their last NFCCG.

Gone to Detroit

Yes. Cut by Detroit then ends up back here.

Love Avonte, but it was time to move on. Wish him the best in Detroit, butt that turf + his body is a bad mix.

I appreciate all that Avonte did and tried to do here. It was just perfect that he got the read on that 4th down 1-read clown throw and broke up that 4th down pass. That being said, he is no longer consistently good at football in any role. I would want him on the field vs the Eagles.

Don't most people have two last names?  Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington ..... Brandon Graham

That soccer ball has never been kicked...

That Spurs vs Sixers game tonight should be pretty hot garbage.  In addition to Maxey, Embiid and George

Adem Bona is out with a left ankle sprain, Andre Drummond is out with a left toe sprain, Eric Gordon is out with right wrist surgery, Kyle Lowry is out with right hip injury management, Jared McCain is out with left knee meniscus surgery, Kelly Oubre Jr. is out with a right knee sprain, and Lonnie Walker IV is probable with a concussion.

Surprisingly, this no name bench that starts now is better than the trash of George, Embiid and Morey's offseason signed vets.

Just put together an alumni team to go out there.  Best living ex-Sixers?

I think my wife made me watch that movie...  Never Been Kicked.   Was a creepy movie when you think about it.

Why not just make it a give away and let the first 12 fans suit up and play?

I believe Kirby Smart has the same level of fundamentals fanaticism the Eagles have.

Only? Majority? No. They happened to pick 5 players from a great championship defense over 2 drafts. None in last year's draft. They signed a couple guys from Georgia, one a scrub off a practice squad and another a cheap deal. They've mostly acquired from other schools.

They have 7 players from Georgia on the roster, 6 from Alabama yet no one says they're focusing so much on Alabama.

The last 4 drafts:

He's tried it all. Searching for the glory hole. Going all in. Now he's selectively aggressive.

Even better: Washington and Detroit are the only two teams who haven’t made it twice since the last time Dallas has. And they have a good shot at fixing that soon
