That seemed almost too good, or am I overrating Pearce and Arroyo?

Someone on FB shared the Philly Special play mic'd up version from the 2017 Super Bowl, so obviously I watched it again as I do anytime I see it presented. I do the same for the highlights of this year's SB and will continue that until the day I die because like many of us, waited my whole life to see a Super Bowl win.

Anyway, one thing to think about in both SB wins is that both QBs had their share of struggles and ups and downs in their career and that particular season. But once in the playoffs absolutely locked in, lighted it up and were clutch and confident.

Foles. Hurts. SB MVPs. :worthy:

Thanks. I actually pulled the 04 DVD's (not CDs), out yesterday. I might upload some of the Super Bowl week stuff to the YouTube channel.

I might put an old game up at some point and see how that goes. The oldest full game that I have is a 1970 MNF game. The one where Howard Cosell had to leave at halftime because he was drunk lol.

😂 at me saying CD’s

I think the McKee discussion is travelling off the rails some.  I find it hard to believe he has value around the league at more than a 5th round pick.  4th at the absolute maximum.  Talk of first and second round picks sounds like a daydream, IMO.

Thank God for that, I've been reading these people saying they wouldn't take a second for McKee and wondering why nobody else is questioning this, I'd snatch a teams hand off for a second, why would you turn that down? Because he played well in a dead rubber against the 3rd worst team in the NFL?  NFL History is rife with QB's who looked good in a couple of spot starts and then crashed down to Earth as full time starter, if someone offered a second for McKee, Howie takes it all day every day.

If you turn down a second for him now, what's the plan in a couple of seasons when his rookie deal runs out?

Nolen & Taylor is the hope man

I like the idea of Eagles drafting a QB on day 3

I don't know where this idea came from or how it ever grew in popularity to where it is now, but one thing I know... Sean is literally one of the best interviewers out there ND really does dig deep and gets stories that you don't hear about from the interviewees.

Great stuff.  (Maybe the sauces act as a bit of a truth serum making people give up more information too!)

We have been driving from California to Rocky Mountain National Park every summer since 1998, so we cover most of the ground that @LeanMeanGM has described.

Loved going to RMNP back when we lived in Denver.  Moraine Park Campground was our personal favorite spot to camp... it had JUST enough amenities to be comfortable (Walkable bathroom, bear boxes, a picnic bench and a ready to go firepit) but deep enough into wilderness that you are guaranteed to see lots of deer, elk, etc from your tent.

Most exciting kick in 30 years.

Watch Jake do it better than anyone in the league and then the league will want to change the rules again....

City Connect is one of the dumbest thing that Nike has done. I pray this doesn't find it's way to the NFL.

It's a win-win. McKee gets a chance somewhere and Eagles get a higher need asset. But, a first rounder? On what basis does that happen? Which team or teams are that desperate?

I'd do it for a 2 if that's possible. That would allow Howie to jump up in the first.

The Giants.  McKee is a Cowboy killer (50% Touchdown completion percentage against them) so picking up those extra two wins would be a huge step in the right direction.

A guy from work was wearing a navy blue Liberty bell hat, I was wondering if we had a WNBA franchise and why…

That was a red card every time.  The ref and video assistant got it wrong. (Daughter is a huge Liverpool fan, so I try to keep up with them so I can discuss with her.)

I was in Birmingham for a month on business that somewhat overlapped my daughter studying in London one summer.  We did a couple weekend trips, including going to Liverpool for the Beatles tour and a trip to Anfield.  The cabbies we used were fantastic and great tour guides on their own.  Maybe the best experience I have ever had with cabbies. Anyway, during the Anfield tour, the guide asked if there were any other football club fans present.  Obviously a few Everton fans, an Arsenal fan and a Man UTD fan.  My daughter is shaking her head as the guide points to me and I said my daughter is a huge Liverpool fan but I follow the Philadelphia Eagles.  (My daughter groaned but for the rest of the tour, I had others on the tour asking me about American football.)

On 2nd viewing, very much so. Quite how they contrived the its ok, shows how officials even get the easy ones wrong.

As for Liverpool. I've been to Anfield once, my teams got some small change donated to us over the game and I've never been back.  I joke, but it is a place of many contradictions but the ground tours will be great..

I find it weird how the two best leagues in the world (NFL and Premier League) have some of the worst refereeing in all sports.

That tackle was brutal and could have injured Mac Allister real bad.

Yep. And the level of officiating is very much a reason why any rule that requires interpretation is doomed to fail.  We can't get the current rules right, let alone anything on top of that will only make it worse.  They need to keep it simple.

If McKee were to be traded there is always Carson Wentz out there … or BDN.

Flacco

Walter Nolen: if he is as good as people think he is, how does he make it to 32?  (I think he goes before 32)

Jihaad Campbell- with news of his shoulder surgery he likely drops.  Worth taking at 32 and working him in the lineup in December? (I would take him, maybe trade back a few spots if a trade is offered and take him.)

Goedert: hope this doesn't get Messi, but with the McBride contract, it didn't get easier.  At this point, if traded, maybe we get a 4th, but I'd feel more confident putting money on a 2026 5th.

Know this will ruffle feathers but McKee isn't fetching  no day 2 pick, not unless we throw a quality pick into the mix. Look at the recent Joe Milton trade, maybe you get back a 5th, 4th and that's with us throwing in a pick. That's about it. Milton also has another year of team control which McKee does not.

Eagles should bite the bullet and do it and use it as leverage.  Say we will volunteer for hard Knocks if you do not vote to ban the tush push.

Milton is a big arm who can run. McKee has proven to be a QB. Milton has proven nothing more than the flawed QB prospect he was. McKee is by far a more valuable asset than Milton. However, people saying 1st or 2nd round are out in left field.

Id expect a 4th rounder and be on the fence. Id take a 3rd without hesitation.

And its mostly as a favor to McKee to advance his career. Ideally he is more valuable to us. But, this is also the whole purpose of being a QB factory. Accepting the draft pick for these guys when it comes. Drafting in the 6th, and turning it to a 4th or 3rd is a win for the team, and for the player.

So if Cleveland doesn't go QB at 2 what could we expect in return for a simple drop down from 32 to 33 so Cleveland can get that 5th year eligibility?  Could we swap 134 for 104?  Is the hope that Sanders or Dart keep falling so either Cleveland, New Orleans, etc. offer up a ransom to move up?

For me, trading McKee should not be done on the cheap, if at all. If someone wants McKee, they need to pay the going rates or wait for him to go to FA, if the Eagles let him. A high 4th/late 3rd or 2 lower picks are the base level for him to go elsewhere.
