What is it with NFL draft prospects and hurting women?

It loads a lot smoother and that's really the most important thing. Performance trumps all. And I think/hope the features should work better too.

@VaBeach_Eagle a couple suggestions for the appearance.

The page with all the thread titles is looking a lot better with all of that unnecessary text removed. But things still kind of run together and make my eyes crazy. When you hover your mouse over one thread it makes that line appear a lighter gray. I feel like the old board had this on every other line. Didnt it? It gives a little more differentiation from one line to the next.

And in the screen shot, can we move those things circled in red over to the right a bit? Or was it always this way? Seems a bit off having all of that empty space on the right border.

I'm not sure that can be changed, but I'll see. Some things are hardcoded into the board. Some things are flexible.

All of that text on the thread page looked bad, I completely agree. I didn't like that at all.

Right now, I'm having some issues with my eyes so it's a strain to look at the computer screen for too long. It's dry eyes, which causes your eyes to produce more tears to compensate. That tends to make things blurry on TV or the computer. So it's really annoying. It'll be cleared up tomorrow, but for right now, it's a strain to stare at the computer screen. So I'm limiting my time in front of the screen.

Not sure if this will turn out the way I see it, but this is what it looks like to me. The quote is darker than your text. But where your text is, looks white to me.

As expected, this update proved to be a disaster for me. I was actually hoping that it might somehow "fix" the problem I've had for the past four or five months (since the last upgrade) whereby I cannot "reply" to any comments while using my primary computer (the one I've been using on this site* for the past twenty years) OR the IPad I've been using for the past three years. Alas, no, it did not fix that. But wait, there's more!!!! Now I cannot even READ the message board using those devices. So for me this is a complete cluster-F.

I can still use the alternate methods I've been using since then. They work but they're not nearly as convenient. So my contributions here will continue to be limited.

I'm not sure if it's displaying the same for you, but for me comparisons are probably a bit easier to work with. Here's a screenshot comparison of the boards light mode color with the twitter embed background, which is most definitely white. Not sure if this is helpful, but a lot of laptops have rough color accuracy, so hopefully this helps a bit.

Yes, used to be white background, now it’s a grey background. Like a "Not quite light mode”
