I wouldn't be happy with a TE in the first. We have a surplus of weapons and not everyone can even get the number of targets they want.

They need to restock the nastiest defense we have seen in decades that dominated the SB.

This trade back from 32 to 46 scenario played out nicely on PFN simulator, landing Taylor at 46. I then proceeded to trade up for both Swinson and Norman-Lott in RD2 and RD3.

This isn't 2018 all over again or is it. 5 out of 8 Howies.

Though I really like Mason, this would be very disappointing especially just witnessing how we just won a Super Bowl. But I don't put it past this front office to go offense.

I like Taylor a lot, but it would be an infuriating pick. To use your first pick on a pick when you have a perfectly capable guy already on the roster at TE that just had a great playoffs, just because you don't want to pay him would be lame.

It’ll be OL or DL if they stick at 32. Almost definitely.

My big "what if” is if Nick Emmanwori is there. Only 21 and the upside is in line with the guys the Eagles have drafted high recently.

Regardless, I don’t want them "swinging for a double.” That’s how you end up with Derek Barnett.

Travis Hunter is not the #1 CB in this class. He is not the #1 WR in this class (and it’s not a good WR draft). He is the player I expect to drop. The press is enamored with his having done well at both positions but that really flies in the face of the NFL. Otherwise, Slay would play a lot of WR and Devonta would play some CB. If a team wants a jackknife then draft Warren. I wouldn’t draft Hunter until the second ten, if there.

Yup. If he only played one side, he'd be a middle of the first prospect, maybe end of the round. He played for Deion Sanders... he is not Deion Sanders.

Lol did they even win anything?

A few games here and there. No big games, no bowl games. BUT, they are servicing Deion's ego.

That's a great start to his career. He's a red flag. Stay away.

Yeah. He said be dominate instead of be dominant. Off my board now.

Not saying I'm sure it'll happen, but it wouldn't surprise me if it did. The entire theme of this offseason was cost-cutting where we could, so that we could extend the core of this team moving forward.

If Howie is applying that mindset to the draft, we could very easily see a TE with our first pick so we can move on from Goedert's contract. Funny enough I could also see Starks being our first pick, so that we're only paying Blankenship while Starks/Q/Coop/are all still on their rookie deals.

My bet is it'll be a defensive line pick in some form. But at this point I can't say exactly what Howie will or won't do.

Draft priority has to be defense high. I'm fine with a TE say in the 2nd or 3rd if they really love a guy they must have. But they need EDGE, DT, Safety, and depth at LB and corner. As well as O line.

TE on this team isn't utilized as much when they have two #1 WRs and the best RB in the league. They can use TE by committee, and that can include a rookie taken in mid rounds.

So if he gets injured then it's 2 positions down?

He comes in on the ESPN Board in Round 3 at 89

Derrick Harmon should be added as a DT in Round 1 at 23

Get to know some DL prospects, they definitely have a different vibe.

@VaBeach_Eagle Is there a way where if people post Youtube videos, it doesn't take up the whole screen? That posted on the board is smaller and if you want to view it large you click on it and have it take you to Youtube.

That’s giving Barnett credit…that was more of a sacrifice bunt.

Personally, I really like Hunter. I think he should focus almost exclusively on CB, his upside is a more athletic Asante Samuel. Unfortunately for him, whoever drafts him high will buy into the hype of 2 way player and overuse him. Detroit, Buffalo or here would be perfect for him. I’d say KC too, but I’m over them at this point. Andy got his, now they’re just annoying.

Howie expounded on previous comments that he made during his "We'll never take guys who committed violence against women"

He basically said that it's not up to them to judge someone innocent or guilty based on accusations, people are innocent until proven guilty, but they always do their homework.

Mike Green back in play if he falls.
