Upon further reflection, I think the pick, if it is at 32, will be Donny E.

Just makes alot of sense.

I forgot, did I wish everyone a happy 420?

@Iggles25 worse wrestlemania I’ve seen in quite some time.

And I think if he is there, the Eagles would be ecstatic. Dude can get after the passer. His change of direction drills at the combine shows he can be a versatile weapon. I guess rhe concernis that he holds up against the run but I think his length is really an asset and he will be coached up here.

Thought this summed it up pretty well...

I like this one. Assumes a Goedert trade. I moved down from 32 and up from 64. Fannin at 96 is a bit of pie in the sky. I think he goes well before 96.

So I have been scoping out the draft guides at the very bottom/projected UDFA. Like, who is the fourth body/arm at QB? My pick is Donovan Smith.

CJGJ left the Eagles after someone stole his car.

I wouldn't call being traded to the patriots as "leaving"

So who replaces him in your mind esp with DG leaving?

Meh - 11 out of 15 Howies.

There should be an NFL award called The Howie for the best draft each year.

For the CJ fanboys, the 2 guys you should most want out of this draft for our secondary are Mukuba and Kobee Bryant.

Mukuba stylistically replaces him. He plays the same position, and plays the same way as CJ. Fast. Plays like a CB, and hits hard.

Kobee Bryant brings every bit of the swagger to the secondary/defense. I just dont know if he can make it in the NFL at his size. If that wasnt a concern, he would be very high on my list of eagles targets to compete for CB2.

Adding both of those guys would be like having two CJs on the team.

Schefter says keep an eye on the Eagles this weekend with trades because of all their picks in the next two drafts. He said they could trade for a veteran player and that's more likely than trading up.

This I don't quite grasp and have to call nonsense on that one. Unless it's TJ Watt or something. Even then not sure how they can fit it in cap wise.

I think he’s just saying we always do trades day 1 and/or 2, so don’t be surprised when it happens again

I can't recall someone wanting a player to get traded more than RTK wanting AJ Brown traded

Wasn't expecting this good news

As expected Eagles are paying 8 guys on offense besides Goedert. Have to believe they will want TE, RG and WR3 to all be low cost spots.

Comes in right behind Creed Humphreys deal. Seems fair although $17M for a center is high.

Howie...when it comes to the cap, gives me complete confidence...extensions coming to Mitchell, Dejean, Carter, Smith, etc....will all be handled. Decision coming for Dean based upon how he recovers. But make no mistake....we are fortunate to have an owner like Lurie instead of the "Guy from France" or the Gambler that we used to have.

That’s great news for two reasons, an important extension for OL continuity and I can’t believe that guarantee without a check up on his back. That must mean recovery is all but certain.
