Way underrated player. Damn near a perfect CB2 in that era.

Scourton may end up being the pick which I’d hate but I also think if he’s tops on their board at 32 Howie is gonna do everything in his power to trade down. Howie is a Blue chip chaser, I can’t see him being satisfied with Scourton as his top pick. Maybe in round 2 if he gets more picks to move down.

From all I’ve read from reputable sources the guys from 25-50 are similar. And they say guys projected in the 40s could easily go in rd 1 and vice versa on the guys in the 20s. So I agree it would be great to move up to get a top guy that fell but I think you’d be getting too cute to move back if you actually like a guy at 32.

Tennessee really is the place WRs go to die

If I had to guess, Shedeur Sanders is probably exhibit A of does not love ball. Hes been hanging out with Steiny and that whole party crew on youtube. Hes dropped significantly down rankings as online draft sites have learned teams dont love him.

Honestly i think there’s a mix of a 4d chess move and his own arrogance. Not going top 15 is probably best for him…though I don’t think he’s going to succeed with Jeff Fischer Jr in Pitt.

I remember Jones holding up his x-rays or what ESPN speculated were his during the draft right before the Eagles took him.

I liked him, but if he didn't try to arm tackle a guy in the Bears playoff game Troy wouldn't have gotten hurt making the play and been full strength vs the Rams.

Tom Dempsey.

If Mike Green falls to 32 I’d have to think real hard. The guy is good.

The bigger issue is that while they all may be of similar overall talent, this is also a very polarizing class of prospects.

Do you value college production? Then Stewart is off your board in the first round. Do you value high end competition? Then Zabel is off your board in the first round. And so on.

This class has a ton of players of very specific profiles — more so than any class I can remember — and I think that while there are a lot of similar prospects overall, most of the prospects will have a relatively small group of teams actually interested in them.

Dom better have some impeccable information from his sources considering what Howie just said about adding players with violence against women. FWIW, Berman says the Eagles have real interest.

Just listened to yesterday’s 7 round mock and he has the Eagles taking Scourton at 32. He has him 45th on his board but says based on his horizontal board he’s a fine pick. He also cited Scourton’s production as a 19 year old in the Big Ten.

About the only DB who could cover Michael Irvin.

Chuck Hughes.

The draft is tonight.
