Might want to pin this. Pretty good indicator of the direction the Eagles go in the draft.

Which means 56.3% (9/17) of Philadelphia’s draft picks in each of the last two seasons had top 30 visits with the team. 100% (!) of Philadelphia’s first three draft picks in each of the last two seasons had top 30 visits with the team.

Moving "politely” one word to the left completely changes your tone.

Life comes at you fast. One day you are shirtless at a parade eating pizza and the next day you’re unemployed.

Usually that order is reversed.

Campbell is perfect for Fangio, but I highly doubt he will be available at 32.

I'm cool with a trade up if he falls past 20. Use that Jets 2026 3rd and whatever else it takes to get it done.

I agree with you that he is perfect for Fangio.

Elite LB and EDGE potential. Another tinker toy for Vic to confuse the hell out of opposing offenses.

The beginning of the pick six drive begins at the bottom of this page: https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=357069&page=115

That's the first key point in the game that I've been looking for lol

If Baun leaves I could see it.

I’d like him anyway, but I don’t think we’ll want to give up draft capital. I expect Howie to trade down. We don’t value the option year as much as most teams do since we try to re-sign players after their third year.

If we can pick up a future 2nd or extra 2025 3rd id be all over it. Build depth and get succession plans in place.

That thread is their 'lead up' thread, with some stuff from days after the game.

Their GDT is here: https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=357069&page=57

I skipped the pre-game stuff with that link, that's about at the beginning of the game (page 57).

Going through these threads reminds me how much I cannot stand chiefs fans. What a bunch of whiney, uneducated, entitled group of morons.

He's bigger than Nolan Smith. About an inch and ten pounds lighter than Hunt.

I think to get the most out of him you would use him a bit as a chess piece; his versatility is what makes him great. I like him more as an off ball LB than a pure edge rusher, but he can certainly rush from the edge.

I think you are right.  Definitely a Fangio kind of LB … similar to Baun.

Be sure to read their GDT too, linked above.

Just got to the Hurts INT. They're so excited. Oh little do they know...

Garrett is a bridge too far, sticking with a war motif. Great player, no doubt, BUT: you get him, you lose all our other FAs to be. No Baum, Williams, Becton, and that’s just in 2025. More FAs get  squeezed out next year, and the year after. Jurgens? After that? Garrett is done and you’ve paid a heavy opportunity cost in young guys not signed because you gave up high picks as well as all that salary. Let Dallas get him.

We don't know what Browns asking price is or what Garrett's new deal would be. It's all guessing at this point

People constantly call Howie a cap wizard but have no faith he could get him

And I really hope he doesn't go to a division rival

The Giants would be good match.😂

I will come back to you in age 32 season and see if you wanna pay $40M for Garrett. That is a dumb move that you should see from a mile away. And you will have to pay Smith and a bunch of others coming up at that time. This is a bad move on the Eagles timeline. I'm a proponent for paying our own young guys in their prime. Besides what you have to compensate him, you have to give up all kinds of draft picks, while Howie is on an epic roll of a lifetime drafting people.

Dude has said he would re structure but keep trying. You will get it soon.

Not extending or restructuring a guy who is over the hill at that point. This is just not the Eagles M.O. Don't know why you can't comprehend that this won't happen and shouldn't happen. It's for many reasons and they are obvious.

There are limitations, even for a cap wizard.  This isn't MLB where you can just spend what you want and pay the luxury tax fees.

I remember last year  where we spent days and weeks here talking about extending Reddick and I was totally against that. And I'm more against a Garrett move, as it's double the cost. As usual, Howie is a Boss and gets a pick for him while Reddick goes in the tank and is probably washed up. Can't be messing with 30 year olds at this point for overall costs here.

You guys sure want to trample on a mans dreams huh

Trade for Garrett. Abdul Carter tanks his pre draft so he can go to the Birds in the draft. Re-sign Milton Williams.  And F it trade for Micah Parsons while we're at it why not.

I have nearly all the same pieces... with the noted exceptions.

This team didn't start to feel inevitable until after the Bengals game.  That's when the snowball started to get some momentum built up, IMO.  And the defense really started to look like they could be special.

bengals game felt like a rebirth.  Then it came crashing down the next week in a game that Siri truly deserved to get fired for.   Hurts was 2022 Hurts in both those games.  Defense really stepped up and stayed on the pedestal too with those games.

Very interesting pick. But who gets benched?

In this mock, I am banging the table to move up to Pick 28 to draft Campbell ahead of the Commanders.

I like Starks, and he would fit in great as a succession plan to one of the safety positions going forward, but if Campbell gets that close to Pick 32...

@VaBeach_Eagle Chiefs fans are the worst fans in the world. What a bunch of knuckle draggers 🤡

They can't make sentences. They are cursing out their top 10 all-time QB. They are using spacing and periods to curse like human garbage in a gameday thread. You have to translate what is going on in the game because all they are doing is yelling in 1, 2, or 3 word posts.

The tears are delicious.

2024 Chiefs fans are like those UMASS? losers who rioted because their team lost a SB in 2017 after winning 2 in 3 years and 5 in 16.

Eagles aren't taking a safety in rd 1

I haven’t done much reading up on the draft. Is Campbell a pure off-ball LB? If so, the hit rate on first-round LBs is rough.
