Jason Kelce spoiled everyone but centers do miss games and you need reliable backups that don't involve moving your Pro Bowl LG over

The issue with Milton Williams, and the reason to let someone else overpay him, is that it seems highly possible/likely that his success is due to playing next to Jalen Carter. And the best evidence o

Wouldnt you say they still needed a backup C?

We do. But, what makes it more interesting is that I personally prefer interior OL backups that can play all 3 positions, if needed. It allows 7 OL to dress rather than forcing 8 to dress every week.

Back up C with good fit and pedigree. Son of a 13 year NFL C. Needs some refinement but addresses a team need.

Kendall shown by the team as a C/G.

Fills a clear need - preferred Jonah Monheim but this works

Sounds like Kendall could be moved to guard at his size and his RAS score. Although i believe they announced him as a center. Outside the box thinking maybe if they think Kendall can be a starting C that if jurgens isn’t ready he can fill in or if steen/green fail at G they can move jurgens back to guard and go with Kendall at center but i don’t think that’s likely

That thought crossed my mind too. It would be way outside the box though.

Are there any young veteran WR worth trading for or who could be available? The WR depth on this team is pretty poor.

Rapsheet just said the Eagles would like to keep Goedert.

I think that’s been the case. They just don’t want to pay him what he’s currently getting. And he likely doesn’t want to take a cut

Well, theyre listing him as C/G so maybe he will end up playing all 3.

Keenan Allen isn’t young but he’s out there.

Is it? They have 3 starters Wilson, Smith and they signed Marshall. They might only keep 4 or 5

Even if he's healthy, Dean is getting starting LB money next year. I don't see them paying him. They also lost all of their LB depth. LB was a sneaky need.

I wouldn't call it a sneaky need. We know that Dean's injury was severe. The level of need really comes down to how much you like Trotter Jr. They lost Burks to free agency too.

Thanks for sharing and thank goodness, all that talk worried me in a year we're aiming for back to back 'chips.

I think you can like Trot Jr without putting blind faith in him. Need competition there. May the best man win

That explains why no move at any TEs by draft or trade. Still they should add someone to develop for next season and beyond.

So glad. One less thing to worry about

Are Eagles going to trade for a vet TE….like Mayer?

Damn, wanted Frazier

Interior OL checked off the list.

Lundt may be the next OL pick.

Agreed 100%. I love camp competitions.

@Cheesteakitis you get any yet? Im getting skunked. Though we may have missed out on Jackson Slater one pick before Kedall.

We've picked 6 guys and we've got 4 more picks in the 6th round. Methinks we gotta trade some of these into next year, right? But then we already have 12 projected picks next year... keep rolling em forward I guess?

I must have missed it i swore they said center. But i figured with his athleticism that they’d cross train him. I actually like the pick a lot. I’m sure stoutland loves his athleticism and believes he can make him into at least a competent backup if not a capable starter at one of those two positions if give the chance.
