Trump didn’t ban Epstein from his property for hitting on kids it was over a real estate dispute over a mansion. You know how he could clear this all up? Releasing the list. Wouldn’t that be simple? Since you like chat so much here you go:

Yes, Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein reportedly had a falling out in the early 2000s over a real estate dispute involving a mansion in Palm Beach, Florida.

In 2004, Trump and Epstein were both interested in purchasing the property known as Maison de L’Amitié. Trump ended up outbidding Epstein and bought the property for around $41 million. According to various reports, including those cited in biographies and investigative articles, this real estate competition may have contributed to the end of their social relationship.

While there’s no public record of a direct argument, this incident is widely believed to be a key factor in their falling out.

From Epsteins own brother:

What Mark Epstein Has Stated

1. Epstein Distanced Himself Because He Thought Trump Was a "Crook”

  • Mark Epstein said Jeffrey "stopped hanging out with Donald Trump when he realized Trump was a crook,” according to a tape he viewed of his brother—part of unaired interviews Steve Bannon filmed in 2019  .

  • This claim was reported by Business Insider and others based on Mark’s recounting  .

2. Their Friendship Was Close—Far From Casual Acquaintance

  • In a July 2025 CNN interview, Mark Epstein described them as "very close” friends. He noted Trump visited Jeffrey’s office often in the 1990s and flew on Epstein’s private plane multiple times—relationships he observed firsthand  .

  • He also pushed back against White House claims that Trump was never in Epstein’s office: "That’s just another blatant lie because he was there,” citing staff who saw him  .

3. The Infamous Married‑Women Joke

  • During a 1999 flight with both brothers aboard Epstein’s jet, Jeffrey asked Trump: "How come you sleep with so many married women?” and Trump replied, "because it’s so wrong.” Mark said Epstein posed the question that way to hear Trump say it directly, highlighting the level of familiarity and trust between them  .

4. Trump Attempting to "Cover His Butt”

  • Mark also criticized Trump’s post‑Epstein statements, calling them efforts "to cover his butt.” Trump had claimed he was not a fan and hadn’t spoken to Epstein for 15 years, but Mark insists their friendship only ended when Jeffrey decided Trump was untrustworthy  .

Trump banned Jeffrey Epstein from Mar-a-Lago after sex cr...

A new book details what led to the banishment of Jeffrey Epstein, a former friend of Presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, from Trump's Mar-a-Lago club.

From Grok

The New York Times article referenced in discussions about Donald Trump banning Jeffrey Epstein from Mar-a-Lago is from July 9, 2019, titled "Jeffrey Epstein Was a Sex Offender. The Powerful Welcomed Him Anyway." It mentions that Trump barred Epstein from Mar-a-Lago after an incident involving inappropriate behavior toward a young woman at the club....

No, the available evidence does not suggest that Donald Trump's decision to ban Jeffrey Epstein from Mar-a-Lago was primarily due to a real estate dispute. Reports, including those from The Grifter’s Club, The Washington Post, and The New York Times, indicate that the ban was related to Epstein's inappropriate behavior toward a teenage girl at the club, specifically the daughter of a club member. This incident, which occurred around 2007, is cited as the primary reason for Epstein's expulsion from Mar-a-Lago. While Trump and Epstein had business interactions, including Epstein's purchase of a Palm Beach property from Trump in the 1990s, there is no definitive evidence linking the Mar-a-Lago ban to a real estate dispute. The consensus among sources points to Epstein’s misconduct as the cause.

Yet you quoted Groc as if it was some revelation. The mountain of evidence we can "see” points to a long close relationship between Trump and Epstein that fell apart due to a real estate dispute.

Wrong. Grok backs it up above. NYT even.

@DrPhilly Mountain is on the other side of the valley.

Here are additional sources that discuss Donald Trump banning Jeffrey Epstein from Mar-a-Lago due to inappropriate behavior toward a teenage girl, specifically the daughter of a club member:

  1. CNBC (August 4, 2020): The article reports that Trump banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago after Epstein allegedly hit on the teenage daughter of another member, as detailed in the book The Grifter’s Club. It notes that Epstein’s membership was closed in October 2007, and a club member stated Trump acted to protect his brand from the potential scandal.

  2. Miami Herald (August 4, 2020): This source confirms that Epstein was a Mar-a-Lago member until 2007, when Trump banned him after the incident involving a member’s teenage daughter. Investigative reporter Sarah Blaskey, a co-author of The Grifter’s Club, stated that a club member described the incident as a threat to the Trump brand, prompting Epstein’s removal. The article includes details from Mar-a-Lago’s membership registry, showing Epstein’s account was closed in October 2007.

  3. The Independent (August 5, 2020): This report reiterates that Trump banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago in 2007 after Epstein harassed a club member’s teenage daughter, as per The Grifter’s Club. It notes the incident led to the closure of Epstein’s account, contradicting earlier Trump Organization claims that Epstein was never a member.

  4. Vox (July 23, 2025): The article cites attorney Brad Edwards, who represented Epstein’s victims, stating that Trump banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago because Epstein "sexually assaulted an underage girl at the club.” While Edwards’ claim lacks corroboration in specific details, it aligns with other reports about the incident involving a member’s daughter.

  5. CNN Politics (July 19, 2025): This source references multiple reports, including The Grifter’s Club and a Wall Street Journal article, linking Epstein’s ban from Mar-a-Lago to his alleged overtures toward a teenage daughter of a club member. It notes that Trump’s former aide, Sam Nunberg, also recalled Trump mentioning banning Epstein due to misconduct with a young woman at the club.

These sources consistently point to Epstein’s inappropriate behavior toward a teenage girl at Mar-a-Lago as the primary reason for his ban, with the incident occurring around 2007, before Epstein’s 2008 guilty plea. While some sources, like The Washington Post (), mention a 2004 real estate dispute over a Palm Beach property as a possible factor in their falling out, the consensus across these reports emphasizes the misconduct incident as the key reason for the ban. No source conclusively supports the idea that the ban was solely or primarily due to a real estate dispute

Haven't you watched Trump turn on people for at least 10 years now?

In any case, it really doesn't matter. Trump can't erase the 20 years prior no matter the reason or reasons why he and Epstein fell out with each other.

Tons of sources say otherwise including an attorney for the victims so it doesn't matter. Nice.

Let's go with your version. The sources you cite all say that Trump banned Epstein "to protect Trump's brand". I believe that 100%. The banning wasn't because Trump was upset with Epstein.

My bet is that Trump had already soured on Epstein due to the real estate dispute and then had no hesitation in banning Epstein over the incident with the member's daughter as Trump's brand was directly threatened.

Same reason the list isnt released. He and his brand would be destroyed.

Can’t believe you didn’t think of option three here: blame Obama and Biden. You’re slipping

"If AI says it, it must be true" is not only horrifying within the context of Trump's involvement in Epstein, but even more horrifying in a general sense. The last thing people need is another shortcut for thinking for themselves.

Im aware of the crazy stuff Grok just came out with. But as usual I love to laugh at the hypocrisy in here. Countless times the extremist lefties in here laughed as they posted Grok fact checking tweets that said the right was wrong.

Now that it doesnt agree with them, they act as though theyve never done it and its the stupidest thing ever to post in here.

What a group of stooges.

They say he banned him for doing something to a kid including one from an attorney for victims, but keep grasping at straws instead of taking the L as you love to say.

Cool story minus the fact what I posted had links to CNBC, NYT, and CNN but blame the AI as a deflection away from what you all don't like.

So just drop the evidence, right? Unedited. Why not? Fry them all and start over

Probably for the 200th time they should be, he was wrong, he mislead, and as I said earlier I bet he's talking to her just as a PR move because nothing is there and he knows a lot of us who voted for him are pissed off.

Please stop peeing in their cheerios.

With everything else going on, this is the touch stone they have to maintain themselves.

Stop being selfish and give them this one to for now.

It's an extreme demonstration that upstream input can dramatically affect the output information produced by an AI. Reading those articles it would be much more accurate to state that "Trump's representation alleges the closure of Epstein's account at Mar-a-Lago was related to his conduct around another member's underage daughter, although this account has never been publicly corroborated by anyone directly involved". As someone who has viciously gone after accusers due to lack of evidence, it's interesting that you are cool with this one despite it all being second hand information from Trump's people.

You would also notice, it points out that Trump's team lied about Epstein having an account there at all which is a bit of a red flag no?
