Tbh I’d love to get Harper over anyone at 3. Curious to what they’d have to give up to do it

Probably less than you would think. Just one stop down and Harper seems redundant for San Antonio.

Tbh there was a report San Antonio was looking at maluach. But he wouldn’t be there at 14 and too high for 2. I really wouldn’t be shocked if the spurs are thinking move down to 3 pick up some assets. Then make a deal with the pelicans who own 7 and apparently badly want to trade up for ace Bailey. Can move down to 7 and pick up even more assets and get maluach

Which is why he's almost definitely looking at a 1 year deal situation somewhere.

It's about where he thinks he can rehab his value to land a big bag in 2026 imo. Making a few extra million and going to a trash defense where he travels with the top WR probably isn't worth it at this stage. Going to Philadelphia or Baltimore or Minnesota etc seems like the smarter move.

He is looking for the best deal he can get with the most guaranteed money. With a history of a significant groin injury, two shoulder injuries, a concussion, a knee injury and only playing all 16 games once plus being 28 at CB, and having milked some serious money from Green Bay in the past and refusing an injury adjustment to his contract, I tend to believe he is looking for more than a one year prove it deal.

Ideally sure, but with that injury history I doubt anyone is offering him a (serious) multiyear offer. So IMO his choices are like you said, go for the most guaranteed money, or take a 1 year deal in a good situation, pray you make it through the whole year, and try to get one more big payday in 2026. I guess a "prove it" deal isn't the best way to say it. He'll make solid money. But the guarantees and years will probably be lacking.

I think adding a veteran at DE is a higher priority at this point than Alexander or Simmons. DE, Simmons, Alexander would be my order of preference.

Alexander has a highly suspect injury history. What kind of insurance is he if he is in street clothes? Here's hoping Ringo can take over.

Simmons played ok last year. He's no all pro at this stage but he is competent in case Brown or Mukuba aren't ready. Would prefer him to Alexander.

Hey, if there is a stupid trade to be made, I think the Sixers are the exact team to do it.

Speaking of Mel Brooks

If Jeff brought back TC for the fans in Hershey, I would be there every day

I'm not an NBA fan, but if I were the Sixers' GM I'd be on the phone with the Mavericks seeing if I can dump Embiid off on them if it means moving from #3 to #1 overall.

If they don't answer the phone I'd fly out there in person, with Embiid in tow, and knock on their office door.

Had tickets went to hit pay and my card decided to decline payment on suspicion of fraudulent charges... Fml

Oh man...

I got 240 in queue for Denver. Thought I was for sure getting some being that early. Still got a message saying no tickets available.

Some face value raiders tickets were left later and I ended up waiting too long for those.

So as of now, I have no tickets. Prices are crazy. Most tickets are above $300 for a regular season upper level ticket. Kinda ridiculous.

I was in the queue number 6,400 and still got in for face value on the rams game uper level. After fees and service charge it was like 225 something per ticket. Like i said though my Fn card decided it didnt want to pay.

damn...

Well, I ended up getting a pair to the raiders game. Not at face, but they were 204 each on stubhub. Same exact seats were on ticketmaster for 216. So I feel I got a little bit of a deal on them.

In the past, Ive found stubhub to be more expensive after fees, but not this time.

Just got rams game 213 per ticket on stubhub! Thanks for the tip!

Im failing to adapt with the times. Im still expecting to see face value tickets for like $115. I guess now, the cheapest are $158 and nearly impossible to get. I refuse to pay $300+ for upper level regular season seats. In recent years, those have been playoff prices.

If tickets increase much more at the rate they have been, I will choose to spend that money on something else. And yes, I suppose that does mean I will be too poor.

I think 178 is the cheapest cause thats what they were for the nose bleeds i was looking at. I think standing room only is 160

Im wondering if theyve gone to variable pricing like the NBA has, where there is no more true face value anymore. Tickets direct through the official ticket marketplace vary in price due to the matchup whereas face value of a ticket against Boston is considerably more expensive than face value against the Pelicans.

I saw 158 for the Oakland game today, but with that price model it would make sense that itd be the cheapest game. My wife got through for a giants game and said they were like 222. I said, no that cant be face value, let those ones go. But she said it was an "official eagles ticket" not an "official resale ticket" So... maybe?

If so, I hate that.

Looks like @Wentz_Era got a new tattoo!

Hershey, Widener, West Chester, Lehigh... Lurie's backyard... I don't care where they do it, but they should bring it back.

It built bonds between the fans and the team. It was a very special thing. Taking your kid to see the team in the stadium for a practice is something, but taking them to where they have the ability to interact with the players up close and literally touch them... that's a whole different level. Unmatched by anything else.
