Well, here's my guaranteed to be wrong first shot at predicting the standings pre-training camp. I go through and try to predict every game, then revisit if things seem out of whack. Here are my takeaways:

  • Washington is going to fall back and miss the playoffs

  • The entire NFC North (other than the Bears) will step back in record as they won't get to beat up on the AFC South again

  • I really struggled to find any wins for the Saints, but not going to predict 0-17

  • I think Jacksonville will be terrible as Lawrence is just bad

  • Minnesota is the hardest team to predict because I have no read on McCarthy

I think the Lions are unlikely to repeat in the NFC North. Losing both coordinators is hard. Losing Ragnow isn't great. They also did not do much in FA. The Vikings added a fair amount of talent. I think McCarthy doesn't need to be that good for them to be as good as last season on offense. The Vikings' defense will be better. I agree with the rest of the NFC.

I agree the Bills will be on top of the AFC East. I think the Patriots may be better than either the Jets or Dolphins. The AFC West will probably be in that order but I wouldn't be surprised if the Raiders were closer to .500. It seems like the Jaguars may be better in the AFC South than the Colts but who knows.

Dallas should just consider trading Parsons at this point. I'm not even joking either.

I would add a win to the Commanders (10-7) and a loss to the Cowboys (7-10)

I think the Bears get at least 9 wins. To balance that, take one win away from the Vikings (10-7) and one win away from the Steelers (7-10)

I wish you'd have said something earlier; it's been written on stone tablets and carried down the mountain already

So these great reporters "uncovered” a couple,of NFLPA/NFL arbitration decisions that 1, show evidence the NFL discouraged fully guaranteed contracts amongst the owners but no evidence they actually colluded on the issue; and 2, that the NFLPA encouraged players to fake injuries but no proof that players actually faked injuries. Wow, what incredible disclosures.

Think about it, on an extension, it’s impossible to collude because the team controls the player. On free agency, the player can sign or not. He is represented by an agent most times. With the draft, we just say the Texans do what they wanted. All smoke and no fire.

The NFLPA encourages players to fake injuries but the players don’t. All smoke and no fire.

Wow. RIP. That jump from the stratosphere is one of the most amazing things I've ever witnessed.

Is the ring party being broadcast anywhere tomorrow?

It seems like it was last time.

Screw that. Not a lineman in the bunch. A two-hand touch team and quoth the raven. Those seniors sure are short.

Lurie can't afford that.

Ugh. Tough to watch this one without getting a little emotional.

I don’t recall it being broadcasted. There were a lot of players going on Live though and posting on social media.

CJGJ is the type to probably broadcast it all on his socials.

You’re not missing much. They used to be good but now they’re corporate. It’s all clickbait.

Ruben Frank was talking about Lehigh on Birds Huddle and I did some digging....

This will be the first training camp where none of the players attended a training camp at Lehigh.

(BG was the last active player)

Yea I’m sure they will put something like that out eventually. I thought you meant show the ceremony live.
