LOL - make the team first Miles. And remember you were Saquon's backup at PSU.

"I do this everywhere..." blink

I guess Miles is suffering from some sort of amnesia. He's forgotten this:

Saquon was ALWAYS better than Sanders, and it was never close. He seems to have some bad blood, probably because Barkley overshadowed him so much at PSU.

But, look at Barkley in NY compared to Sanders in Carolina. Embarrassing for Sanders to open his mouth. Finally, look at Barkley in NY vs. Sanders in Philly. Sanders in Philly couldn't even compare to Barkley when he was healthy. And then there's Barkley in Philly, rarified air for him. Sanders was above average at best. Barkley was all-world.

Digging the Ogbo signing, even if he only ends up being a camp body.

I suspect our DL might take a few weeks to start playing well with one another. Lots of new bodies.

Having said that, I think it'll be good again this season.

It's like some people want to be intentionally obtuse and pretend they didn't watch Jalen Hurts dominate in the Super Bowl. Here's another one.

51-20 record since being the full time starter, 12 of the losses coming in his first season as a starter and the collapse at the end of 2023 which was the defenses fault.

So he can play like trash as long as the team wins?

More like plays with trash and the team wins

District 31-6A Overall MVP. Where do the accolades end? They dont.

I was watching top 100 plays from 2024 season to get ready for football and I can't get over how much I hate domes. You could wake up from a coma, have no idea what time or day or time of year it is, put on a game in a dome and still have no idea. I love watching highlights of games outdoors and knowing exactly what time of year it is just by the way the atmosphere looks. That haze and overcast of the fall. Or the bright sunlight of September games. Gonna miss those outdoor December games in Buffalo with their new stadium. Nothing beats the atmosphere of outdoor games from November and December.

It's why I hate the Cowboys game being week 1. I get why the NFL did it. They want to do the best they can to ensure the teams are close to full strength and it's a big box office matchup, but I'm willing to risk that not being the case so that game isn't wasted in week 1 and there's build up to a key late October or November matchup. I like to look forward to facing them as the season goes on, not get it out of the way in the first week.

I don't think the Eagles are all that realistic and I think ultimately the Bengals sign him, but I don't put the chances Howie is lurking at zero. I think his game will age well and wouldn't cost a 1st in a trade.

I feel like Ja'Marr Chase recorded himself doing something illegal

The Cowboys’ 30-year Super Bowl drought predates Dak Prescott, but entering his 10th season, the quarterback understands the criticism of his 2-5 postseason record.

He said this offseason that he wants to win a championship and "be damned if it’s just for my legacy or if it’s for this team. It’s for my personal being, for my sanity. The legacy will take care of itself.”

Prescott was the MVP runner-up to Lamar Jackson two seasons ago and is closing in on all of the team’s major passing records.

But he does not have what Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman do, which prevents him from consideration as the greatest in team history.

“[Criticism] comes with the territory,” Prescott told Clarence Hill of All City DLLS. "That comes with the $60 million. It is what it is. And if I’m sensitive to the truth, then I’ve got a problem with life. Nobody’s more upset; nobody’s more pissed; nobody’s more disappointed about that than I am. Nobody wants to win more than me. I have the proof in what I do, in my hours and my habits of preparation. I understand it’s a team game, but at the end of the day, the quarterback is paid to fill in those gaps, and when you’re not playing well, to understand that and to bring the team back. And have I done that when I needed to? Absolutely not in those crucial times. And if I had, the record wouldn’t be 2-5. That’s being a realist. However, I know what I put into this game. I do it all for a purpose. And when I go through the fire, that just says it’s shaping up what’s to come.

"I would bet on myself, and I’d bet on the work that I put into this thing any day. And trust me I’d give the money I make to win and be broke. I’m not sensitive to it. It is what it is. And trust me, that’s my point. Nobody’s more disappointed than I am about that. All that does is that elevates the work that I put into this and how I approach it.”

Prescott’s hamstring is fully healthy, and he’s got new additions around him, including wide receiver George Pickens, running backs Javonte Williams, Miles Sanders and Jaydon Blue and right guard Tyler Booker.

His confidence in himself has not wavered, and he’s ready to write another chapter.

"What I’ve been through in life, [criticism] doesn’t affect me,” Prescott said. "It comes with the territory. It comes with $60 million [a year as the league’s highest-paid player]. I get to live out my dream. They get to continue to make judgements. And if that’s talking negative on me, that’s them. I have the pen in my hand. I’m going to work. It’s being confident and knowing that I can get better.”

I thought it had a retractable roof. If not then good, they're doing it right.

Very true but they have a lot of cool things: a heated roof that protects two thirds of the seats, a heated field, and a natural grass field. That’s three things the Met Life field doesn’t have and it’s the home field for two NFL teams. Met Life is probably the league’s worst field. Top three anyway, and almost as bad as the Vet was.

First day of camp!

Jerry is still Jerrying…Bengals still Bungling, etc…

And wtf Miles…jealous much?
