What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

For what it's worth, Pro Football Network reports that Sirianni signed a five-year deal that pays between $30 and $35 million. They say he's the eleventh highest-paid HC.

Lurie promised he would release the cotract details, but now he's saying they're is no contract. He sent out stadium surveys as a distraction. Spadaro is working hard to get everyone to focus on Jordan Davis' weight loss. We still want the details! PFN days they do have the details. What a mess.

Love your insights on DBs. In my long ago limited experience I never looked back from the LOS unless I was chasing a RB breaking through. It’s a small world on the OL.

I really hope Q and Coop are showing Ringo how physical he can be without an infraction being called. I never thought I would say a DB coming out of college would be too clean with contact. There is a difference between grabbing and hand checking and Kelee needs to understand that hand checking is an alternative to eyes. Hand check the arms, shoulders and waist but don’t grab or block raising the arms. (Although a DB can get away with a little impairment of the arms if it’s a quick touch). Handcheck but turn to the ball and most handchecks won’t be called and most contact won’t be called if the DB makes a play on the ball because he has an equal right to the ball when it’s in the air. Now, hand checking AJ will have limited results because he has the size to intimidate most DBs and has such great late hands. I hate that the Eagles have become so secretive that we don’t get to see those drills. Hopefully some are visible from the upcoming padded practice. In Jerseys, that’s the time to practice mirroring and Kelee is pretty good at that but doesn’t trust tracking the receiver and turning to the QB to track the ball. That’s where he needs to hand check.

Jalen Carter is practicing today.

Is it normal to not release the details of what a coach makes? I swear Andy's got released in KC. Not that I care either way.

As long as he is happy and focused I don't care what he makes. Wait, with Lurie being broke maybe I should...

I'm not at all sure about Ojomo. My impression was that when teams ran right at him he got blown off the LOS. He definitely got wedged out in short yardage. To a significant extent I think the Super Bowl was a mirage. The Chiefs' OL was so bad they made us look like the '85 Bears but in the regular season, against a less than awesome schedule, we were very much middle-of-the pack in terms of sacks, of which Ojomo had none. There are positive comments from the Beats about his play in the TC but that has to be taken with a pound of salt. First, they were not in pads; second, he was going against Steen, about whom I have grave misgivings. It could be just as much a case of Steen being bad as Ojomo being good. I'm definitely wait and see with both those guys.

I agree about Hunt. I think he can play. More than anything last year he needed reps and you could see his progress when he got them. He needs a bit more strength but he's had a year in a pro weight room so I expect to see progress there too. Still, 8-10 sacks is a lot.

As for Smith, while I love his game and the violence with which he plays, he's not a big guy for the position. I am not at all sure that his body will hold up. I would put the over/under on sacks for him at 9.

I think Ojomo has some of the same limitations Williams had in prior seasons against the run. I thought this was a good review of some of his issues:

He's not going to be an effective run stopper at times. The play against Dallas where the center tries a reach block but Ojomo is already in the backfield is a good example of his strength against the run to his side. The 2 plays against Washington show the problems he has.

I think it probably depends on what the coach wants and/or his agent more than the team.

Apparently, the vote happens before Christmas time, so this was well before the SB.
