EJ Smith is leaving the Inquirer but says he isn’t going too far. He won’t be doing regular appearances on Sheil’s Philly Special podcast. My guess is he’s replacing Zach Berman on PHLY.

He is....even though they said they couldn't announce it, they inadvertently had it in the description for the pod on Apple Pods lol.

Good for EJ, and I think a great pick up for PHLY.

Yes, at least it did early this morning. They may have updated it since then.

I was pretty surprised to see the description and then to hear them say they couldn't announce where he was going.

They changed it now, but it was on spotify too

I hope Philly Special finds a good replacement for EJ. I liked listening to their game preview pods on Saturday night before gameday. It was relaxing.

Does anyone know how JAKIB pays McMullen, Sileo, and the rest of them? They don’t have a large following on YouTube (52K which is nothing). It’s always puzzled me. Can’t imagine they are raking in thaaat much in ad revenue from local sponsors.

Apparently they don't pay them. Mikey Miss has sued them claiming they didn't pay him when he worked for them.

My brother in law is a lineman for PECO. Just sent me a picture and apparently they just cut power to Jalen Hurts’ home. This is terrible, Luries money troubles are so bad it’s impacting our players to the point they can’t pay their electric bill.

I am looking forward to @just relax’s posts tomorrow. Interested in how Hinton and Kinnard do at OT, Kendall at C, Keegan etc. Hopefully the new LS, Johnstone, does enough that @FranklinFldEBUpper can offer some insight on him and the returner candidates.

I am curious how Hall, Evans and Sykes look at DT/3-4DE.

I will be watching the S play and CB. Vanilla, so basic quarters and probably some Cover2 to put the corners on islands to see how they handle the pressure.

Curious to see if the Cooks and Cooper hype by the Beats shows up.

I listened to a bit of it and he announced he was leaving the Inquirer and that he wouldn’t be a regular on the pod anymore, but nothing about PHLY. At least not in the part I listened to.
