Orlovsky must be inconsolable right now. He so wants Philly to fail so Stafford and Goff have a better chance.

I actually like the rams a lot if Stafford is healthy. Problem is no clue if he is or not. Frankly it’s why i said they should be a team in on McKee next year (heck if Stafford is truly hurt and can’t play give up a boatload now not to waste a season). They are unlikely picking top 10 and McKee is a ready to win now Qb. He makes a lot of sense if they believe in him.

Wasn't he all about Philly a few years ago? Couldn't stop talking about the Eagles

I said it last year, I thought the Chiefs won a lot by default the last 2 years. I don’t trust any team but the Eagles to not trip on banana peels when they play the chiefs. Rams are the closest thing, and they’re a tough matchup at full speed

Yea I remember his wife and her family are. But I do remember him being extremely high on Philly a few years back. That's all he talked about. Now it seems like he soured on them

Yup i agree. I think chiefs win the afc cause bills and ravens consistently choke in the playoffs. Ravens fumbling balls into the end zone or Andrews fumbling or dropping wide open 2 point conversion. Bills defense not showing up in big moments and/or games against teams like chiefs. Imo the rams are the team that frankly scares me the most. Their defense is young and getting better. Stafford if healthy can keep them in games. I’d say Tampa bay but I’m not sure how they look losing their OC and i think Bowles owns eagles last 2 times but both games eagles were without WRs and a sputtering defense and one not gelled yet.

I think he probably believes hurts last two games isn’t what he thinks he is the majority of the time. It’s fine but when games got bigger, hurts got better. That’s what mattered

Stafford is a pro QB too, not a hero ball superstar type that everyone thinks they want. They would’ve done much better against us last year if they had actual safeties

I don't think Chiefs win the AFC. Bills and Bengals will have something to say. Hell the Bronocs have a really good defense. Rams are being overrated. Defense is full of young ascending talent. Don't trust their oline, Stafford staying healthy, or their ability to stop the run. NFC West is wide open

They just signed Stafford to a new deal.

Rest of the league is lucky the Bengals are a bush league ass organization, else they’d be the real dynasty.

And it's Stafford's back. And it's a disc. Really could be a matter of one sack and he is done. All speculation but not a great spot to start the season.

Otherwise, I think the Rams are competitive. But it is a BIG "otherwise" to overcome.

Falling awkwardly, turning, just being shoved to the ground can aggravate it. He'll deal with this all year and my guess is miss some time

2 HUGE issues with Shedeur

1 - taking on the media is what his loser punk dad does. Hurts gets 100x more hate than Shedeur. He just wins on Sundays.

He's 12-12 vs D1 at Colorado and fights the media like he's Nick Saban.

BYU 36 Colorado 14 (and it was 27-0 then 36-7)

His punk kid just did the same thing after playing like Tyler Huntley light in the preseason.

2- They put up a Nike ad praising this kid for a preseason game.

No coach wants a scumbag surrounded by scumbags dictating the day to day and week to week storylines of his team.

Imagine needing to cut or bench this guy? You don't need an army attacking you for a football decision.

He's Kaepernick bad mojo without the run speed or arm strength. He's Tebow with slightly more (but not much) NFL upside.

Fun year coming up in the NFL. The Eagles have to compensate and adjust for the sweeping changes necessitated by post-SB FA's. It's popular to hate on the Chiefs because there was so much fan fatigue and zebra related consternation from them...and the Eagles may have broken them in the SB.

But when I look at the best teams in the NFL...I feel like its the Eagles, then the Chiefs, then no one else in the conversation.

The Lions were a juggernaut last year, but the wheels fell off...and I'm not sure they've screwed them back on properly. The Rams, I respect. That young defense is dangerous and Stafford can turn it on when he needs to. So that's not a team I'll enjoy in the playoffs. But are they in the elite conversation? Absolutely not. Commanders? No matter how popular of a pick they are, I just don't see it.

The AFC? We only have to worry about the team that escapes. And I really, really struggle to see how anyone is going to dethrone the Chiefs. The Bills are great, but at this point I just can't believe in them. They are only getting to the SB if the Chiefs aren't in the way. Josh Allen is incredible, but the net talent on that team is regressing.

Obviously, some teams will surge and have great years. But right now...Eagles Chiefs round 3 feels like a pretty solid bet for the next SB. Based off pure statistics, I guess the smart money would take the field, but it's really hard to see any team in either conference being favored over the Eagles or Chiefs in a playoff game.

Hopefully they figure out a contract for Trey

He can thank his dad for attributing to his slide in the draft

The thing about the Rams is that their backup QB is the 10th highest rated passer in NFL history with a 43-21 record as a starter.

He'd be throwing to Puka Nakua and DaVante Adams and he's only 34.

Now the playoffs are a totally different story for that guy.

Doesn’t mean he finishes that deal if his health doesn’t allow him too. Season hasn’t started already dealing with health issues. Were rumors he might retire after the 2023 season. Also acting like teams haven’t moved on from guys. Also if the rams post June 1 cut him next year based off sportrac they save $21 mil and it’s $27.5 mil dead money.

Jameis: "Saquon had a team that didnt believe in him... Im greatful to be with that team now." roll

I would add if they also got better offensive line play in the playoff game against the Eagles, that game might’ve been different. Jalen Carter absolutely destroyed them. I’d argue if Jalen Carter didn’t play one of the best games of his career in that game, Eagles might not win another Super Bowl. There’s a chance they lose that game.

Stafford‘s health is why I think they are a sleeper team for Tanner McKee (next offseason). There were major rumors that he might retire at the end of the 2023 season. Maybe part of that was contract negotiations, but I also think it is his health was definitely a factor. His wife talked about it. There’s a chance with how things are going right now that he’s unable to make it through this entire season and he might just stay at the end of it. I am walking away cause i want long term health. And at that point, the Rams are just gonna post cut him June 1 save 21 million and take the dead cap hit.

If that happens At that point they would need a quarterback. That’s why I think they’re a sleeper team in this. I’m not sure Matt Stafford makes it through the end of that extended contract. I’m not even sure he makes it to the end of the season if he’s already having issues and the season hasn’t even started.
