Keegan's rather anonymous camp and place on the 53 suggests he's well liked by Stout for the things we as fans don't see from the outside.

I forget who said it but one of the beats who does fairly regular podcasting said Keegan was by far the player yelled at most by coaches during all of camp. I suppose it's good in that they care enough to try to correct him but it also seems he's living on the edge of a roster spot.

Still only 21.

Jeanty wins Preseason Offensive Rookie of the Year

When I say the media is full of shills, another example. A coach who has been terrible is better than a guy who has never missed the playoffs as head coach, just won a Super Bowl and has been to two. The level of simping the media does for NY is laughable.

Cole Strange was waived. He kind of fits the Eagles profile in a guy that was a former high pick whose career was derailed by injury. He wouldn't be a 53 player but I wouldn't be surprised if they kicked his tires if he wants to be on a PS. He'll probably end up on some team with a bad OL looking for help though.

I am not sure you get safety with Covey. He's very fragile. I think you get 4 weeks out of him before he's busted up again.

I agree that a liability at PR can lose you games (Greg Lewis).

I also agree that a dynamic PR can win you games (Desean Jackson, Brian Westbrook).

Covey is neither. He's steady, but not dynamic.

The improvement of the quality and consistency of punters in recent years has essentially stamped out the opportunity for dynamism in punt returning … Siposs being a contradiction to that rule of thumb.

Normally I don't like every player being a commentator but he's actually got a good personality that's engaging. Not sure if it translate but I guess we'll see

They seem to like him enough to protect him and not leave him to dangle on waivers. He can take up spot #53 like Mailata did for 2 years and work with Stout. Hopefully they found something with him. The new PS rules make stashing vet depth on the PS easy and you don't have to expose certain young players to the waiver wire.

Agreed 100%

Honestly I'll never watch because I don't watch any of that stuff. Too much media. I just watch the games and listen to some Eagles podcasts which are generally worthless but at least it's Eagles

Oh I didn't read the article. He's not doing games? I don't watch those shows anymore because they're nothing but crazy and wild takes to get views. I doubt majority actually believe what they say

I forget, can teams claim a guy then trade him? Like can the Eagles ask the Titans to claim someone and then trade a 7th for him?

Britain Covey was the only Eagles free agent to sign elsewhere and not make the team

Fred Johnson escaped on a technicality

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Atlanta Falcons starting right tackle Kaleb McGary will miss the entire 2025 season due to a leg injury sustained in the team's final practice of training camp.

Keegan, probably. Maybe Cameron Williams. Byron Young if they replace him with another iDL

I'd rather keep Keegan than a 3rd TE.

The Bengals only kept 8 OL. Seems bad.

Can teams only claim one or do the top teams get everyone they want?
