Nah… I screwed up the math. In my head, I mistakenly thought the first Thursday night game against them as the last game of that NFL week, instead of the first one of its week.

At Buffalo at that point in the season isn't going to be a fun game. OTOH, it's also not a Division or Conference oppoinent. It may be a somewhat meaningless game. I could see a scenario where the Eagles rest starters that week and return them against the Commanders the following week.
