May 29, 20241 yr I did. I liked it. I wanted to really like it, kept telling myself that I did, that it was really good, and it should be. The acting is great, the production is great, the writing is great, it just seemed to drag a bit for a few episodes in the middle.

June 6, 20241 yr The Iron Claw - it’s a fine film, decent acting, it’s just that the last hour or more is like constantly getting kicked in the junk.
July 10, 20241 yr started watching a doc miniseries called six schizophrenic brothers last night. colorado parents had 12 kids...6 of whom were schizophrenic. really f'd up story.

Wife and I started watching this last night, and we are about 1.5 episodes in. This is one of the darkest family stories I've ever seen.

July 25, 20241 yr This one is old, but has anyone seen the documentary, "There's Something Wrong with Aunt Diane?" Geezus - it's a tough one to get through. Spoiler I don't even know what to feel after watching that. I feel bad for the remainder of the family that still lives, but my God, I have never seen such denial and stupidity to admit the obvious from the husband and SIL.
August 12, 20241 yr In the Eye of the Storm - Extreme weather porn showing different extreme weather events that were filmed on various peoples' cell phones. This show is, at times, unbelievably intense. Last nights episode, showing the 2022 Buffalo blizzard, was extremely difficult to watch throughout because it, more than some of the other episodes, showed the people filming in serious danger of being killed at any moment, and the danger just goes on and on. If you're a sucker for storm chasing shows, like me, this one is a must watch.
August 31, 20241 yr Re watching VEEP, and the jokes written age so well. It is definitely a top tier comedy series
