It was intense that episode with the hunting.  How bout the miners?  Whew !!  Usually only see naked women on TV, never men.

so much dong for you!

Seeing Ron Jeremy's hog certainly took me out of the Chernobyl atmosphere.

Anyone watch The Sympathizer yet? I'm 2 episodes in, it's not bad IMO.

I did.  I liked it.  I wanted to really like it, kept telling myself that I did, that it was really good, and it should be.  The acting is great, the production is great, the writing is great, it just seemed to drag a bit for a few episodes in the middle.

Even at HBO's peak we're talking like 4-5 shows a yr you would watch.

It's so dumb you can't turn away

The Iron Claw - it’s a fine film, decent acting, it’s just that the last hour or more is like constantly getting kicked in the junk.

Yeah, we watched that one.  Tragic stuff.  So much violence and abuse.

i'm only 1 episode in but it seems like the kids didn't show signs until their late teens-early 20's...so they cranked out a bunch of kids before the oldest ones became symptomatic. really f'd up story so far.

Wife and I started watching this last night, and we are about 1.5 episodes in.  This is one of the darkest family stories I've ever seen.

This one is old, but has anyone seen the documentary, "There's Something Wrong with Aunt Diane?"  Geezus - it's a tough one to get through.

Spoiler

I don't even know what to feel after watching that.  I feel bad for the remainder of the family that still lives, but my God, I have never seen such denial and stupidity to admit the obvious from the husband and SIL.

In the Eye of the Storm - Extreme weather porn showing different extreme weather events that were filmed on various peoples' cell phones.  This show is, at times, unbelievably intense. Last nights episode, showing the 2022 Buffalo blizzard, was extremely difficult to watch throughout because it, more than some of the other episodes, showed the people filming in serious danger of being killed at any moment, and the danger just goes on and on.  If you're a sucker for storm chasing shows, like me, this one is a must watch.
