Thank you. If they're afraid of the run they bring a safety down. If they're not, they don't. I can see how that would confuse him.

So where are the C2 beaters in the playbook? Seems like we are easy to predict and rotate into proper coverage as a result

Stop calling time outs and getting penalties. I have to poop.

Is that a prediction or an observation?

So Carson still might to be the starter for the Eagles game in week 7. This is his 3rd Start in a row with the Vikings. .

His shoulder is injured and he's questionable to return

This is the week where the grace period for me expires with this team. Of course winning is the most important thing and if they win, great... but the offense needs to improve this week. If not, I'm both going to be really concerned and really pissed. Really concerned because this is the type of game where last season they'd have heard the noise all week and came out ready to execute. If not, it would be an indicator they are out of answers this time around. That doesn't mean they can't still win the game, but being out of answers is never good and bodes poorly long term. And pissed because I know there's about 20 other coaching staffs out there who would get more out of this unit than this staff does as it currently stands.

And it's not like this schedule has a spot where it eases up for a long chunk. It really is just the part of the schedule we have coming up the next few weeks and that's it.

I don't think it'll last so it needs to get figured out. Hopefully it's today

WEEK 5 is here Eagles Fans. Welcome to the October after having a Perfect September (Coming off a Super Perfect January/Feb). The Eagles historical streak continues. 20-1 in the last 21 games. Two back to back 10 Game Winning Streaks since last year. 13 Straight Wins in Philadelphia. They have just kept finding ways week in and week out. This year it hasn't looked the prettiest as the Eagles have won all four of their games by one score. Defense and Special Teams has also come up in the clutch in several games. The Offense has been up and down. After four brutal weeks playing teams that absolutely hate us and wanted to beat us badly.

We now face an out of conference Broncos team that we only play ever 4 years. Vic Fangio's old team. The Eagles are 9-5 all Time against the Broncos. The Eagles are also 6-1 in Philly Vs The Broncos. Their last win in Philadelphia was in 1986 at the old Vet (I was under 10 at the time, lol. They have never won at the Linc (0-2). What's weird about this series is it seems to be a lot of blowouts and dominating performances. The last two wins against the Broncos were basically blowouts. I think this broncos teams has good defense and the young QB Bo Nix is also doing pretty good. Of course Sean Peyton can be a thorn in our side at times (During his Saints era).

This Broncos team lost their only two games on the road at the last minute. So they are better than their 2-2 record. With that said, this is a tall task. Sure the Eagles are winning at a historical pace. But I don't see them tripping up here at Home. Also the Broncos are coming off a short week traveling to the East Coast. The Eagles always play the Broncos well in Philly. If this was in Denver it would be a different story as the Eagles are 3-4 in Mile High. With all the talk about the Offense, I think they finally bring it together this game. The Eagles are 14-2 including the playoffs Vs The AFC with Jalen starting since 2022. Eagles hit 5-0 for the 3rd Time in Four Seasons with their best performance this year:

BIRDS - 38

BRONCOS - 13

JALEN - RUSH TD

SAQUON - RUSH TD

AJ - TD

GOEDERT - TD

DEVONTA - TD

JAKE - FG

DEENSE: INT, FUMBLE, MULTIPLE SACKS

ST: BLOCK KICK

I think you predicted literally everything that could happen in the game besides a safety

Taunting - completely subjective.

Well, runs because the safeties are not providing run support. Four verticals. WR on a deep corner and the TE up the seam - Goedert TD was this pattern. That’s a few.

I'm trying to be optimistic but this feels like one of those sick Philly sports weekends where the universe hates us. Hope they don't have a letdown. Need a good win.

Jefferson throws the ball at a CB... no taunting. An Eagle yawns at the sky... taunting.

Well it's my hope that every game this year isn't a nail biter and they finally put together a complete performance. Safeties are always hard to get so I rarely predict them. Would be funny if that happens now that you mention it.

A) it’s very difficult to officiate so perhaps they should scrap the increased enforcement.

B) now that the preseason is over, let’s shelve the points of emphasis.

The NFL doesn't know what its doing any more. By rule, that's illegal, because it was a block back towards the Eagles' own goal line, but it was anything but a 'blindside' block. That rule wasn't put in place because of those types of blocks, and shouldn't have been called. AND, it was a penalty during the play, after an incompletion, as it turned out. Just pick up the flag. Once the ball is ruled dead, none of the 'action' of the play matters anymore. Only a dead ball foul after that should be enforced.

@Diehardfan did we get a safety today?

Interesting McWilliams is inactive. Gipson, no idea why they claimed him. And Ojulari is finally joking the party, yay.

Likely one of the sacks happens in the end zone.

Like everyone, I hope the WRs get some quality ball today; I can see the OC over compensating a little to keep the ship steady. Will it be a win? Not sure, but I dont necessarily fear the Broncos as I would a team like the Bills.

For the sake of fans, I hope its a simple win where things click and the media focus can go elsewhere. I can't read any more nonsense on X or people misinterpreting it.

Ojulari did it!

Carson Wentz still stinks. They shouldn't have traded away Howell

The new Albert O.

Hell of a punt.

Byars block on Pepper Johnson in today's league would have led to Keith being taken out back and 'Ol Yellered him.

We should trade for newsome. He’s got some juice
