I had a good friend that always had to have his cap on top of the TV during games.

When he also had outstanding TEs, RBs, and the best OL in the nfl.And after that he had all of that plus top notch WRs too.People give Hurts crap for having it easy. Mcnabb had AR as the total control HC/OC his entire career here with no instability. A better pass blocking OL. And lots of WRs after 2003 that knew how to get open…and some of the best pass catching backs of their generation."Outstanding" TE's??? NONE of the TE's McNabb played with are ever going to make the HoF, lol. But yeah, Lewis and Celek were good players, but they weren't exactly on the level of Travis Kelce, Sharpe, Gonzalez, or heck, even Zach Ertz.Westbrook was a really good player for sure, but I wouldn't make the argument that IF you have just him and a decent TE, that you have all the firepower you need on offenseLastly, Reid is a better coach now, but he had glaring issues with being extremely pass happy with mediocre WR's, and awful clock management while in Philly. Also, McNabb had like a total of 3 seasons with talented WR's: Essentially 1 season with T.O. due to his injury and suspension/release the following season, 2 seasons with Djax and 1 with Maclin as a rookie. That's not a lot of time, and I wouldn't call Maclin top notch.

The thing is they have only faced one defense that is currently ranked in the top 20 in yards allowed. I think CAR is going to slow them down this week.

He was open about that snd how he wanted to be seen as a pocket passer. He was also a choke artist.Maybe after injured enough times he decided it would be better for his health to not run around like a fool. At least Hurts seems to have figured that out.

I wouldn't want Cooper trying to take him on head up, hit him low, I don't think he will have to hit him to far downfiled in open field though, Skattebo is a slower back with a lower center of gravity and seems to have a knack of keeping his feet. He ran all over the Texas defense last year in the CFP, hell he did everything that game (148 rushing - 2 TDS, 99 receiving, and a passing TD. Texas had the #3 defense last year. Skattebo is a determined player but I don't think his NFL career will be a lengthy one, the physicality he plays with is not sustainable. He is a ferocious blocker.

Then coaches with big egos decided they knew better. Do you think Patullo knows better?Makes sense, a tad before my time. I’m sure tech advances had a bit to do with that too though?

12 hours ago12 hr Seems like when the Eagles go no huddle, up tempo they play better. More time to assess the defense and adjust the play call at the line. I would like to see them do that more outside of 2 min drills. The downside is impact of TOP but they could always run the play clock down if trying to use clock

12 hours ago12 hr Denver loss is on me. It's the only game I went to the bar to watch this season. Had my younger brother and his girlfriend in town last weekend. Wanted to show them a good time.Back to the man cave and laptop for this one. They should get back on track big time.
