I make two assumptions about HE based solely on his posts:He is an excellent parent. This board is his favorite game. His game is dull to me so I have had him on ignore for the past year. Same for RTK because his game is dull as wellRTK has upped his game of late. He has added a few more notes to the one-note approach he was wedded to in the past. I too used to have him on Ignore, but I don’t any more. I haven’t regretted making the change.

Everyone can bring problems, not everyone can bring solutions to those problems.” I’m not saying that to take a side here or point fingers, it’s just something that has served me well.

Fortunately the off ramp for her has been very short and relatively pain free.Sad to hear but hopefully she is peaceful. Best wishes on your visit.

Did I get that right? You know, rejecting discussion on the actual topic for a minute, am I the only one who feels like the whole Super Bowl MVP thing has been excessively referred to when talking about Jalen this year?I definitely don't recall it being used at such a heavy capacity after the first Super Bowl to defend Foles for why he should be starting over Wentz? And frankly, the level of difficulty for Foles' Super Bowl win blows Jalen's win difficulty out of the water, they're not even in the same universe. People kind of messed around with Foles like 'That's Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles to you", but that's about as far as they got.So why suddenly are people treating Super Bowl MVP like League MVP, but only when it comes to Jalen? Just wondering.

Offense was totally ineffective as a result. Not even debatable. I fully agree. We all saw it. A national embarrassment.Defense was most certainly the MVP of the gameDisclaimer: Hurts played well

There are obviously some people who just have hated Hurts since day one but there are so many people who ride him when he is playing well and then turn on him after two bad games. Philly sports fans have also always had a weird fetish for the backup QB. They seem to convince themselves that no matter what door number 2 will always be better than door number 1. Either way it isn't some secret nor will it ever be that Hurts is not a traditional QB and thus you can't run a traditional offense. Smart coaches like Steichen and Moore have understood that and created an offense that utilizes his strengths and negates his weaknesses. Meanwhile, dumb coaches like Siri, Johnson, and Patullo have not tried to jam a square peg into a round hole. It's not rocket science. RPO game, designed runs for Hurts, roll outs, etc and he will have success. Trying to just run the ball up the middle and have Hurts be a pocket passer is obviously not going to work. It's not about being smart or dumb, it's about how adaptable you are. I've said it before, Siri and Johnson are average offensive minds. Average offensive minds need their bread and butters, the kind of fundamental basics of playing QB and the concepts that associate well with those things. Timing, and willing to rely on that for completions. Average isn't dumb. But Hurts is FAR harder to design a scheme for that works season after season than people are admitting. It requires a GOOD offensive mind to produce an ACCEPTABLE offense, which is a notably higher difficulty than for many other QBs who at least have some basic QB position fundamentals. And that's really what it comes down to. You're designing an offense for someone who isn't comfortable making some of the most bread and butter throws in the NFL.I've always said I'd support Hurts fine if he improved in his ability to deliver the football on time after the snap, and used timing better, but frankly all he's done is show that he's just as bad with that as I thought, with the OL having some shaky games. He needs every bit of the time they've given him for several years, and that's pretty rough.

Did I get that right? With Hurts at QB you will never see any under-center play action passing. Four OCs with knowledge of those plays have not been able to make them a part of the scheme. I guarantee Sirianni isn't vetoing an approach that has shown to be successful. It's the QB. He clearly doesn't want to turn his back to the defense to fake a handoff. We never throw when Hurts is under center. That said, Hurts offsets his limitations as a passer with above average accuracy and a nice deep ball. His game is further enhanced by his scrambling and running. So, all-in-all, he is an asset at the position. But be honest with yourselves as to how Hurts is succeeding as a QB.
