Between Landon and Cam being out or just playing hurt, there was no way to be dominant. Hopefully Cam's new injury isn't anything much.

You’re right, the injuries are a huge factor but they are a fact of life in the NFL that need to be overcome. The Rams didn’t have Puka today, but managed to play their game and whip the Jagwires. We haven’t been particularly consistent in many good ways on offense, so my concern is that positives we saw this week could evaporate next week.

It doesnt include a lot.

I know youre not much of a sports guy, but anyone that knows about PER in basketball knows there are certain players that actually arent all that good, but have that stat hacked.

QB Rating is a hackable stat. Hurts has figured it out. High completion % with all of his short throws, no INTs are the keys. It doesnt even care if you hardly throw for any yards. Then, even just 1 TD makes it skyrocket.

Theres a ton more that goes in to evaluating a QB outside of the basic forumla that is used for QB rating.

It's called "passer rating" not QB rating, dumb ass. QBR is a different metric which does include sacks, and his was one of the highest possible QBR ratings today. You'd know any of this if you paid any attention and actually understood the first the thing about the game.

Let’s look at who the Vikings D has played.

Week 1 - Bears who were a mess the first 4 weeks

Week 2 - Falcons who ran for 218 yards, no deep passes needed

Week 3 - Jake Browning

Week 4 - Steelers, 80 yarder to Metcalf, but Rodgers is dink and dunk these days.

Week 5 - rookie Dillon Gabriel not exactly throwing many deep balls

When you lose, you always resort to semantics. Must suck to not be a sports guy and try to live on a football message board.

You consistently cheapen your argument when you keep saying dope or "you're not smart."

EPA, DVOA, QBR, etc. There's not a metric you'll find to prove he had a bad game. I'm enjoying that you're getting exposed as a fraud who pretends to know anything about football.

I like how youre pulling out all the stat lingo now to try to sound like you know what youre talking about.

No one hates seeing the Eagles win & Hurts play great more than supposed Eagles fans who's entire personality is hating their team's QB.

This guy really in here trying to argue that was a bad game from Hurts? It's just unreal how people take him seriously with this.

He hit 95.2 on the QBR today. 100 is the highest possible.

so basic. sad.

He's not smart and neither are you if you agree with him. Use the right terms and name a metric that proves he had a bad game if you want to be taken seriously.

We had a rough stretch there in the 1st half that included many of the same issues that we’ve seen in Weeks 1-6. Both offense and defense made enough big plays to win, but it doesn’t feel like the team has gotten into stride where they will dominate.

I agree with that. I guess I've already accepted that they won't be the 2024 Eagles.

"He's hacking the stats!"

So we all clearly realize that RB performance is heavily dependent on the OL. And Barkley is excused quite a bit because of how bad the run blocking has been this year...likewise, last year, his historic numbers were also made possible by standing on the shoulders of an incredible OL. But that's the definitive downgrade of the 2025 Eagles. Based on 2024 performance, Barkley was named the #1 player in the entire NFL. Through 7 games in 2025, Barkley's production has been downright bad.

Imagine if any team in the NFL had the best player in the entire NFL...built their offense around that player...lost that player...and then replaced him with a JAG.

That's what the offense and the derided coaches are up against right now. I'm not calling Barkley a JAG, but until he and the OL collectively get it together, his production is what it JAGedly is. And that's an enormous change they are all working to overcome. Expecting the transition to be anything better than ugly was not reasonable.

Anyone else think Jalen under threw this TD pass to DeVonta? If you slow it down to 1 frame per 5 seconds you can kind of see if you aren't with a basic viewpoint how that was actually a really bad throw. Much like all of his other completions. They could have been much better. A lot left on the table.

Well, everyone who knows ball knows that Hurts cares a lot about personal stats.

🤣

Barkley is a home-run hitter that needs good to great blocking.

He's a bad fit for THIS version of the offense as a runner. He should be getting more passes though / we should be throwing more in general.

Using stats to prove you wrong is fun, but you also make it so easy when you box yourself into a corner like this.

The guy almost pitched a perfect game today. He doesn't beat himself. And makes all the big plays at the right time. Let alone, With Brett Toth at Center and a small semblance of a running game. Amazing passing day for the man! Earned my respect even more today. And today also clarified that the WRs finally got what they have been asking for after halftime and being under center with play action. They certainly found something against a top pass defense in the league. This is a huge development. Shows KP has been holding them back like we all thought. Only up from here....

And it was nice beating Isaiah Rodgers. Not a good game for him. I imagine he would have been poking Eagles fans and team on social media had they won. And nice wacking Wentz of course. Got the 2 INTS that most of us foresaw and got beat up throwing those hero deep balls on the run. Hasn't changed one bit.

The Perfect Passers:

Donovan-McNabb.jpg

2007: Eagles 56 Lions 21 (Mcnabb 21/26 381 4 TD's)

2013: Eagles 49 Raiders 20 (Foles: 22/28 406 Yards 7 TD's) (Tied NFL RECORD)

PXAHLAVIJVGDTBJOKUOFQPJBVE.jpg?auth=34df

2025: Eagles 28 Vikings 22 (Hurts: 19/23 326 Yards 3 TD's)

Foles had the best performance overall, his jersey in the Hall of Fame next to Peyton for the 7 TD's. Mcnabb scored the most points during that 75th Anniversary game and those wild jersey's. Jalen scored the least points, yards and TD's but was the only who did it with the Eagles having a Winning record (5-2), Mcnabb (1-2) and Foles (4-5) when they got their perfect ratings. Welcome to the club young man. The Philadelphia Eagles are 3-0 with a Perfect Passer Rating Performance.

That’s realistic. I guess what I’m looking for is progress. Teams are supposed to get better each week. The well-run and talented teams separate and rise to the top in November and December, while the others stagnate.
