  • Jalen Carter: need to get back to the basics.

  • AJ Brown: the team is motivated, have to execute, the morale in the locker room is normal as in they are not panicking, they are focused.

  • Cam Jurgens: they've focused on reviewing film to correct the bad stuff, execute and do your job. After the 2 losses, don't panic, stay motivated to go out and win. He doesn't have panic or fear because of all the impressive people on the team that know what it takes.

  • Mailata said the players need to get their focus back and do your job, they worked on simplifying the game and executing. Practicing in pads was a reminder to be physical and they need to be the aggressor, to punch first. His take is that they're not that predictable, they're just not executing and then putting themselves in predictable 3rd down situations. Establish the run game and that will take care of everything. They don't panic, don't reflect too much on last year or prior seasons, they stick to process and shut out the outside noise.

Kelee Ringo and a 5th.

EASY

Probably too much. Let's if they want Adoree Jackson instead.

I really don’t understand why they don’t run more play action. It’s not complicated and if Hurts can sell the RO and RPO pretty well he can sell play action. I can’t imagine it being a play Hurts "doesn’t feel comfortable” with unless it’s simply the under center part of it.

Baffles me why they don’t use it more. Much more.

Well it does require the qb to take their eyes off the defense…

Cant read and process fast enough is my suspicion

Defenses seem to be keying on Saquon, so the solution RPO-wise is to take more risk in the air or with QB hits.

Cant run the backside slant everytime…

Maybe it's just player speak but I don't even know how Mailata can have that opinion about being predictable. His teammate on the other side says it's predictable. Analysts all say it's predictable. People on the internet can tell it's predictable. And their are stats that back up just how predictable they all are.

Probably just being defensive. He asked who says we're predictable, people outside this building? The reporter said Lane Johnson said it. Mailata said it's being blown out of proportion. That if they execute on early downs, then they won't be so predictable on 3rd down. I think he's just doing player speak. A lot of them are just speaking for themselves and that they have to do their job. Which is good to not point fingers and blame anyone.

Great kid with the right attitude. Not sure he can play, but at least he is someone his teammates can look to.

Nick used to chew up defenses with the TE... there are options but the QB has to go through them very fast in order to avoid the illegal man / ineligible receiver downfield penalty. It's been a problem since 2023, when the league tighten up the officiating in this regard.

I hope BG doesn't come back. He had a storybook ending to his career, coming back from tearing his tricep (and re-tearing it in the SB) and winning a 2nd ring. This is another area where the idea sounds better than whatever the results would be. If he wants to come back and insists, fine. But I wouldn't put any pressure on him that he has to.

I saw this idea floating around and hated it. Let the man enjoy retirement with his family. He's earned it.

All signs seems to be pointing to Carson. Also Vikings Defense hasn't given up more than 25 points and are great against the Pass. We need to be ready and yes this is a Must Win. You have to get back on the winning track.

BG looks like he lost 30 pounds. Don't see him coming back.

Jeez, you got to put a warning up before you do that… I’m completely triggered.

More shade on Shadeur Sanders for not getting beaten by his mom as a kid.

Saquon Barkley's first 6 games this season:

95 carries, 325 yards, 3.4 YPC, 3 rushing TD, 54.2 YPG

Saquon Barkley's first 6 games last season:

91 carries, 482 yards, 5.3 YPC, 4 TD, 80.3 YPG

This is interesting. Saquon's has had more carries but his numbers are less than last year. Down in yards, Down in TD's and Down in YPG. So yes the O-Line issues have taken their toll but Saquon is still getting yards. The issues is he hasn't had that explosive game yet. I think Saquon is due or a big 100+ game.

Too many negative plays without the explosives; 9yds, -1yds, 1yds doesn't sustain drives.

The eagles started the year as a passing team last year. Unfortunately, the idea to become a running team hasnt looked like an option this season. It hasnt been working.

Looking at that from another angle though, its crazy to think about how much over 2k Barkley could have done if they were a running team from the start, week 1.

wow, that's a real hot take there on hendrickson.

Trading AJ for an OG>

An AJ trade is basically punting on this season and who knows for next season. We all know the stats and W/L record of the team when he's in the lineup versus out of it. I think he's the most important player on the offense. Unless if it gets to TO levels where he's basically demanding out, I don't know how you get rid of him. Hurts is not the type of QB that is going to elevate someone like Dotson or even DeVonta to match the production.

For a team that has a very strong two year window here to try to win another Super Bowl, I think trading AJ is one of the most idiotic things that they can do.
