Beyond that it is likely pain tolerance and whether the player thinks he can play. My guess is that Landon is pushing to play and they don't think whatever is going on with his ankle and knee is going to get much worse with him playing. That's not to say he's not going to be functionally limited or wouldn't be improved if he rested.I'm not even talking just the doctors. I think if the doctors told Sirianni and Howie "Hey, if you rest this guy or 3 weeks he'll be a completely different player" then they'd have sat him for 3 weeks. I think they either think a few weeks won't make a difference or he'll gradually heal naturally through the course of the season.

Oh wait.Fine, even if we squeak in, we'd be a one done...Oh wait. Well, if we did manage to get by somehow we'd never make it to the championship game!!! Oh wait. Well if by some miracle we actually did get to the big dance, there would be no way in the world we'd actually be able to win it!!! Oh wait This is a fanbase that for years worshipped Buddy Ryan and hated Andy Reid.Buddy never won a single playoff game.

21 hours ago21 hr Louisville is getting after the Canes 14-7, Chris Bell is a nice looking X receiver… if we were looking for one down the line👀
21 hours ago21 hr Slimbiid looking slimmer than I ever remember at any point in his pro career. Surprised they brought him out again to play in the 2nd quarter. Hope they don't play him anymore tonight with it being preseason. 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals and 4 points in 9 minutes. Couldn't have possibly hoped for him to look better than he has given the time he has been out and the knee injuries.

There are obviously some people who just have hated Hurts since day one but there are so many people who ride him when he is playing well and then turn on him after two bad games. Philly sports fans have also always had a weird fetish for the backup QB. They seem to convince themselves that no matter what door number 2 will always be better than door number 1. Either way it isn't some secret nor will it ever be that Hurts is not a traditional QB and thus you can't run a traditional offense. Smart coaches like Steichen and Moore have understood that and created an offense that utilizes his strengths and negates his weaknesses. Meanwhile, dumb coaches like Siri, Johnson, and Patullo have not tried to jam a square peg into a round hole. It's not rocket science. RPO game, designed runs for Hurts, roll outs, etc and he will have success. Trying to just run the ball up the middle and have Hurts be a pocket passer is obviously not going to work.

You guys were calling for Moore's job when he was making Hurts throw the ball early in the season. Hurts' strength in the Moore offense was handing the ball off to Saquon Barkley. And that wasnt Moore's idea. It was the OL that had enough of watching Hurts F up so they went to the coaches and said lets lean on Barkley.

Jalen Hurts went 12-2 won 4 straight games in the postseason, won the Super Bowl and Super Bowl MVP and you are going to sit there and talk about the Moore offense like it was some success story for Hurts? I've never had to suffer through as much a trying time as an Eagles fan having to sit through all of those wins last year and that Super Bow blowout of a dynasty going for 3 straight Super Bowl wins because of how much of a story of failure it was for Hurts and Moore as the OC. It reminded me of how bad it was with Steichen as OC.

He has made some seriously cringe plays from the little I have watched. The Steelers are dreadful on D and he put up 21 on them.We learned that Drew Lock can beat the Eagles. We don't have to pretend Wentz is good to understand he can still win on Sunday. Its also not his revenge game. That was with DC and he was awful.

Just standing there drooling on himself, crapping his pants. Offense was totally ineffective as a result. Not even debatable. I fully agree. We all saw it. A national embarrassment.
