The rookie who wasn’t even supposed to play for half the season is the best player on D so far…and a 1st round LB. What world are we living in right now?

My Campbell junk is pretty stiff.

Can’t start the season opener at 2pm WTZ

They can watch it on tape delay. Can't have the season opener ending at 2 am EDT.

Leadership is walking around instead of using the break to study and plan?

Baun was lucky the ball was under thrown on his seam route

Campbell had his head turned and was running with the offensive player

That play by Campbell was special and what makes Fred Warner so good.

How bad is Azeez Ojulari if he can't suit up with the lack of edge rusher depth. I expect Howie to be busy over the next few days. I think Clowney and Smith are still out there.

Yeah that is an issue. I kind of think when Dean comes back (whenever that may be) we might see Campbell rush the passer more.

Frankly haven’t been impressed with our DTs either. I get Carter isn’t out there but i don’t think either of ojomo or Davis looked like they are starting caliber type guys. Need Carter to stay healthy (obviously) otherwise getting mid level DT play.

I said this when they signed adoree Jackson if they expect him to start he’s going to get beat nonstop. He wasn’t good enough with giants last year to start more than 5 games (even if they wanted to go youth movement he stunk and it’s why they did it). Frankly when Gilmore, Douglas were out there i much preferred to see them over Jackson. I think Jackson is just done

TBH I really didn’t like Jackson at all as a draft prospect; was disappointed when I heard the Eagles signed him and assumed he’d have been beaten out before the season. I’m hoping the Eagles went with him banking on his experience and they realize quickly he’s not the guy.

As a retired man who already stays up late because of insomnia…I’m ok with it.

Blast Adoree into the sun. He has no business being on any team. Rasul Douglas, Stephon Gilmore, somebody else but get Adoree out of here.

I'd just release him but your way works too. 😎

Probably need to watch the game again but JD played better as the game went on I feel like

Dallas has had five possessions and is trailing.

Can't they call the game like in baseball?

Carter being out and not getting double teamed almost every play changes EVERYTHING.

Win or lose, it's gonna be nothing but Carter being a sped for the next 10 days.

We’ll have no idea what Dak even said but from the replays it looked like barely anything, if anything at all. It looked like Carter wanted to send a tone but did so in the dumbest way imaginable

Yeah, and it seemed as though he didn't even understand why thereafter. Which might be just as bad as the initial offense. Very concerning

Dean is average on his best days…he’s depth if he comes back. Campbell looks special in his first game in the NFL.

Bennett looked light years better than Adoree Jackson immediately. Bit of a chincy DPI, then made two very smart plays to keep DAL players in bounds in their hurry-up offense.

Jackson has been bad all night.

Jacksons attempt at a tackle on Sanders long run was about the only thing worse than his pass coverage, to his credit its tougher to cover when the D line gets minimal pressure and still adoree has looked really bad

They don't own the rights.

Now they're talking about food and uncrustables

I’d add they banked on ringo being good enough in the offseason when clearly they should’ve had better competition for him. Adoree shouldn’t have been the competition cause you thought adoree wasn’t good enough to beat him it. Ringo had never played enough to assume he was good enough to start on the outside. Should’ve gotten someone like Bennett way earlier and made ringo earn the job. It’s sad ringo couldn’t beat out adoree

Chances Carter is suspended more than a game?

The turnover might mean absolutely nothing at this point with the game being delayed for so long

It means Dallas didn't get points on that drive.

11:30 EST game will resume. @Bwestbrook36

Tbh i thought his pass rush got better. But his run defense hasn’t been good. At least first half he was getting pushed off the line. Which really is the thing he should excel at.

If nothing else, this delay gave me time to finish my therapy homework. Now I can light up and just enjoy the rest of the game.

Dean was solid especially against the run last season. I doubt he’s going to be back at the same level. I think Trotter is probably at his level.

Making a Campbell rush the passer when his clear strength is covering takes a strength and makes it a weakness.
