I don’t follow the Dolphins, so I’m basing this on the opinions of others…but it sure sounds like he knows how to orchestrate an offense and run a scheme. If that’s true, he’ll always have a job until he gets so annoying and eccentric he becomes unemployable. (See Todd Haley and Mike Martz). And he is both annoying and eccentric, but he hasn’t run his course yet through the league like the other two.I don’t think any front office is going to want to burn it to the ground and let go of a coach that knows how to construct an offense.Siri is an interesting contrast. At times, it felt like he was losing control of his press conferences and interpersonal interactions. But with more experience (and the confidence of winning a SB doesn’t hurt), he has gained a more impressive, natural, and less weird control of a room. That stuff seems unimportant but it impacts the length of a leash of a coach on a losing team.Tua has been bad. He was particularly awful today. Had a 24.1 Qb rating today. I think that’s their issue on offense and tyreek hill was a pain in the ass. Defensively they are just a mess even with some good players on that side

Monday at 02:30 AM2 days The Broncos entered the 4th Quarter with 0 points. I guess we can't talk as the Broncos came back on us as well but it wasn't this bad.

Some analytics post said he had a very high win % in 20 pass rush reps or so, but that’s a grain of salt.

But I do think it is important to have some ability, as a coordinator, to harness one dimensional players. Your unit cannot be all probowlers and it better not be all well rounded JAGs either. Sometimes you need to integrate these unbalanced players who do one thing really well.I think the personality clashes were an outcome of Huff being one dimensional. Huff felt undervalued, Fangio felt like how TF do you play in the NFL and can’t do anything against the run.The strength of the Fangio scheme really is the back 7. The sim pressures, the match coverages. That naturally requires a more versatile edge. It’s just a different philosophy than we’ve been conditioned to here in Philly. We think we need all-star edges to get a pass rush. Fangio would argue you could have the whole Pro Bowl edge group, if your coverage is bad, the QB will throw it before the pressure can get there. In Huff’s case, the QB knows #0 is a chip away from being completely useless, and he can always check into a run to Huff’s side and gain 5 yards.

People were saying it was Baun's worst game. I said the more the DL underperforms, the more undue criticism the LBs will be getting. Didnt Young get injured last week? I didnt think he was going to play today. But I dont remember the extent of his injury.

Monday at 02:42 AM2 days Is it really breaking news when someone sends vile messages to people on social media? It happens like billions of times per day to every famous person in the world. It sucks but it is what it is.
Monday at 02:45 AM2 days Something I just thought of, giving me some more hope with HurtsThey had the passing game come alive in the 2nd half of the rams game for the comeback win.He started pretty good the next week, and then got concussed. I insist regardless of not being diagnosed. Things went south. He missed deep balls. He was off the mark, and/or late on his bread and butter short throws to AJ.The following week he started pretty well again, but then started holding the ball longer, missed deep balls, and was off the mark on his bread and butter short stuff to AJ. I believe he wasnt fully recovered from the concussion, or re-rung his bell at some point in this one.Today, coming off extended rest, he did not look concussed. Began opening up the passing game in the 2nd half (like in the Rams game) and did just enough to win once again. For the first time in weeks. So, hopefully this is a sign of things to come. Maybe this offense would by flying already if not for the uncalled late hit that injured him weeks ago. Maybe they are about to take off now, as long as he stays healthy.
Monday at 02:46 AM2 days Honeymoon period over with Rodgers in Minnesota. Eh! Maybe we can get him back. Ha. Along with Becton. At this point, you just know they would love to come back here if they could.

Monday at 02:47 AM2 days Campbell is not an EDGE. We can bump him down to EDGE to make a 5 or 6 man front on occasion to mess up blocking schemes, but he's simply too small to be good at this. I do think he's been very good in coverage, and disappointing as a run defender. He does not fully trust his eyes, which makes him a step slow. Wouldn't be as big of a deal with a better DL, but is a big deal. You could really see the difference in processing speed between him and Nakobe.

Campbell’s a rookie, who’s doing a lot right and has ceiling that I wish Dean had.
