Exactly. Go look at every snap across the league in slow motion and you'll see guys moving early. Maybe more tackles do so than anyone.

Really almost every infraction across the league is not called most of the time it happens. Certainly not holding or PI or illegal hands to the face or even delay of game is missed by a fraction of a second most times.

It's funny that there's so many missed calls. You hear people say that they can call holding on the O-line or in the secondary on almost every play and its probably true. But it seems like whenever there is a big play like a punt return or an interception return or a long pass play that too often a flag will get thrown. It's almost like the referees are trying to interject themselves in the game when a big play happens.

The end of the Giants Denver game for example. It was an exciting game and Dart throws that long pass that ends up getting called a PI on Riley Moss. It was a BS call and to me it seemed like the ref was just trying to become a talking point of the game. Terrible call that could have cost Denver the game. A week or so before Stefon Diggs got penalized for a terrible OPI call on a long Patriots TD pass.

The best players who might be available at the NFL trade...

Here's how the top trade candidates -- including Trey Hendrickson, Chris Olave and even Mark Andrews -- stack up. Who is the top target to land before Nov. 4?

Fowler ranked the guys most likely to get traded and to which teams.

Most likely he said for Eagles are Woolen, Jermaine Johnson, Michael Carter II, Arden Key, Cam Taylor Britt, and Mark Andrews.

Does Hurts or Gibbs get NFC OPOW?

I heard on the Philly Special podcast that our offense is ranked 10th in DVOA - which accounts for quality of the opponent.

I looked at defensive EPA/play rankings and saw that we have played four out of the top-10 in that category.

I also saw that the Giants have the worst rush defense in the league.

Generally speaking, good process leads to good results more often than not... and bad process leads to bad results more often than not. And when what seems like bad process leads to good results more often than not, one must reevaluate the definition of either "bad process" or "good results". I think the definition of good results aligning with winning games doesn't need redefinition. So, what we may view as bad process may not be as bad as we think... or the talent disparity between the Eagles and the vast majority of the competition is so great that process doesn't really matter as much.

Personally, I think its a little bit of both of the final two pieces. The bad process isn't as bad as we think... but at the same time, the Eagles are the more talented team to take the field in nearly all the games they play. That means something.

You sir have a future in politics.

Trade deadline isn't until November 4th this year? I hope if Roseman is planning in making any moves that he does so this week or early into next to get the new guy in during the bye week instead of waiting u til the deadline.

I read this article a bit earlier this morning. I don't get a couple of their potential destinations for these trade targets, this one specifically. They have DAL as a potential destination for Andrews as well. DAL has more glaring needs than another TE, Ferg was a Pro Bowler in '23, a bit injured last year and played without Dak. This year he already has 51 receptions and 6 TDs, other than depth why would they be interested in Andrews?

Any trade DAL might make for an offensive player is just unnecessary at this point, unless it is just a can't say no kind of deal. I am all for trading Diggs but I am afraid DAL would have to give up picks and Diggs just to get rid of him.

Holding is now at the point where it does look like the league putting its thumb on the scales when it is called, because you see flat out tackles by the O Line being let go for one team, and then next thing the refs suddenly call the slightest curled finger brush on the edge of the pads, wiping out the first big play of the day for the other team.

No one cares you loser. Go back to your own message board or get ready to crawl back into the hole you came from when Dallas chokes later in the year.

I came into here to say VJ tonight! Don't forget to watch! I had to first reply to person who seems like they are lost.

Woolen would make sense for us. Curious if Seattle would trade him to us. It’s bunched up in the nfc playoff picture and potentially could face us. But he is a FA at year’s end and doesn’t look like a fit in that scheme/with McDonald

I’d like to get Johnson. Has his club option for 2026. Probably can work out an extension to lower that number for next year.

You can find some other "friends" on your Lakers and Yankees board. GTFO.

If that is the case which numbers in your table are those amortizations, and why aren’t the amortizations the same each year?

I’m home in California now, so I will go out on Spotrac and OTC to get a better understanding

Spotrac and OTC have it wrong - they miss his old contract money. I posted the larger spreadsheet earlier.

They're not the same each year because the bonuses are different each year. And then there are years added (year 2 has 2 bonuses amortizing, not one).

🤣 You're so soft and sensitive. It's OK, just put me on ignore, it's not difficult.

No, I will continue to annoy you. Why are you here?

So effectively, the Eagles and AJ Brown are stuck with each other until the contract gets to the last couple of years? Or is there an ability, in your opinion, a way to adjust things so that the trading team can take the burden on?

After 2026 you can post June 1 him. That's the most likely as he has no gteed money in 2027 ($4mm gtees on the 3rd day of the 2026 season).

Johnson is the best guy on that list by far. Actually plays the run too.

He makes a lot of sense. His age and potential upside. I’m guessing Howie really liked him coming out in his draft class. Plus he also has even more intel with Douglas working with us again. He makes sense if the price is right. Downside is he missed almost all of last year. Played in only 4 of 7 games this year.
