I wasn't a huge fan of this for PHI when I saw it mentioned a couple of weeks ago here, but if there is room for him in PHI that would be the place for him to make the biggest contribution to any team imo. It worked out well the last time he came back, he knows the locker room, knows his role, and they know what he can bring to the table, I don't think it could hurt anything. I am not saying PHI needs to make a move here but history doesn't lie when it comes to results with him on the roster, it's almost like he is a different player when he is in PHI.

There's a reason that they haven't wanted him around long term. And a reason why he's not back as it stands now.

Stoutland U is about to lose accreditation.

I think a lot of it is out of his control- fatigue and injury mainly.

His calls as to who is subbing in for injuries are head scratchers this year though.

Eagles have 10 games remaining. Going 6-4 in those games should be enough to win the division.

Took awhile to find the Eagles since they decided to make their wordart match 3/4 of the league.

TEN really screwed up when they let Vrabel go.

Choosing this coach was the screw up. Whether they lose with Vrabel or the next guy isn’t a big difference. Find the guy who’ll win

I'm all the way out on CJGJ. Eagles got rid of him twice. Ravens secondary blows and they got rid of him. Texans secondary blows and they got rid of him. Detroit has a banged up secondary and could use him and know him, and they are out on him. He's a decent player but clearly not good enough for teams to deal with for more than a year. I wouldn't be surprised if he's not on a 53 man roster this year.

Eh. I think he’s still an upgrade over Makuba (currently). I’d be up for bringing him back. At this point it’s basically just half a season…

Trading AJ Brown was the Jenga piece that caused a total collapse.

I was hoping it’d happen in 2023, but then we can add Cursebreaker to Jalen’s accreditations

Jackson Powers-Johnson an option for us? Heard he maybe on the block

I think OAK plugged him back in the lineup and saw immediate improvement.

I'm a fan of both of these. Opeta > Toth. But my dog > Toth.

If Jurgens is out for an extended period of time, one option is to move Dickerson to C, Steen to LG, and then put Pryor in to play RG. I hate moving three spots around but I'd seriously consider doing that if it is the only reasonable way to get Toth out of the mix.

He's better than Makuba but I don't think he's that much better to stunt his growth along with whatever other baggage he brings.

Start with a win this weekend - I'm not sure where the Giants' are at mentally after that DEN debacle, but if they come out intent on being the bully again... well, we have a lot to prove.

Exactly. Very little commitment there. His best spot and city is Philadelphia. Ravens were a sinking ship and traded for a safety when he was added on. Texans were also pretty terrible at the time when he left. I think he just wants to play on a winner. Can't blame him. Eagles dumping him was also financially related. He's not perfect, but maybe for this team he is. Makes plays is all I know. We can wait on Makuba for next year if needed. We can still give him some snaps along the way here. This is about repeating for a Superbowl and this year. Nothing else!

Imagine investing your money in the Giants. What a sucker. A Koch sucker you could say.

I wonder if there's a warning in there somewhere... 🤔

I want to say that the reason Vrabel ended up leaving was because of differences in opinions between him and the FO about how to build and run the team, he wanted more direct control, I can't remember exactly. Vrabel is a very capable coach, they just didn't give him enough time to right the ship imo. He is doing pretty well in NE.

Eh, big difference in trading a 24 year old AJ Brown and an almost 30 AJ Brown. Also factor in their plan was a rookie Treylon Burks surrounded by jags.

You can’t do that though. Comparisons are never 1-to-1. He didn’t have NE’s defense in TEN or Drake Maye

He wasn’t winning in TEN and that’s all that matters for TEN. Think of it like Martellus Bennett: he was destroying the league after he left Dallas; but he didn’t do that for you and that’s all that mattered in letting him Walk

Who is Dallas dangerous to other than their own fans?

Btw... this must not be based on where things stand in the standings, because the Ravens are currently 1-5, and have almost 0 shot at even making the playoffs. So, right now they would be proven to be bad... dare I say atrocious. They have Lamar. They have no defense, which is weird to say about the Ravens given their history. They are currently the worst in the league in PPG.

I'd bump the Panthers to flawed. They are starting to build something even though I don't like their QB. Their defense is 7th in yards allowed per game, 10th in passing yards allowed, 8th in rushing yards allowed and 13th in points per game. Offense is a WIP but they have a decent run game going.

I’d swap Tennessee and Arizona

Tennessee is bad right now but last 30 years or so they’ve been competent

Arizona aside from 1 playoff run in 2008 have been mostly abhorrent

It was a view of overall franchise situations. I also wanted to get four equal sets.

  • The Ravens have Lamar, good coaching, and solid ownership.

  • The Bears look better, but haven't beaten a team with a winning record.

  • Same for the Panthers. Their strength of victory is 0.278.

  • What are thoughts on Tennessee's current GM, Coach, and QB?

Challenge accepted, assclown!

Everytime I see your screen name I think MikeMike, which then leads to the seagulls "Mine, Mine, Mine" scene from Finding Nemo, which sounds like Mike! Mike! Mike! Then I found this little gem:

I really don't want to gut the draft pick stash. I'm hoping Howie can work a player for player trade first and foremost, but I suspect picks are most likely. Fowler said Seattle really doesn't think Woolen fits, so maybe they'd do a Ringo for Woolen swap and Howie could get a CB by saving his picks there.
