Get excited for next week. Got the 1-5 ravens vs. 1-6 dolphins

Maybe Lamar will be back at least.

Tune in next Thursday when the Dolphins face the Ravens in a losing coach gets fired on the air at the end of the game special!

They can bring him over to the HoF TE, the criminal, and the journeyman backup for the interview right after he is fired.

So Mike, are you going to consult for the 49ers or the Eagles next week?

So John, you used to be special teams coach for the Eagles. Can you help them with their kick return game now that you have some free time?

Tbh I feel like to have more competitive games on Thursday, they should really use more divisional games. you know each other well enough that game planning isn’t an opponent like Viking/chargers who don’t play each other all that often. So far this year the games that have been close on tnf have been the divisional games

What a joke of a question by whoever asked it.

Why is it annoying? It seems incredibly trivial to me, and there is nothing I can do to address it, so I mostly ignore it. Am I missing something?

It's annoying to hear about and read about. There is no getting away from it, literally every media outlet talks about it and when it happens it's discussed in here as well. The only option to avoid it is to not read or discuss anything about the eagles at all for at least an entire week. It's annoying

Tbh i get Lamar is hurt but harbaugh really has been riding Lamar to keep his job. McDonald left and the defense has gotten worse. Special teams aren’t exactly killing it.

They need to just get rid of thursday night football, almost every game is awful.

Only benefit I can see is it gives the teams that play a few extra days rest the following week.

Other than that the matchups are usually bad and the games follow suit

How in the world did Wentz look like a lock HOFer in 2017

As bad as it has been, the Ravens are probably 3-3 if Henry did not come down with fumble-itis.

I don’t know but I’m super thankful. Without it we aren’t in position to win that Super Bowl and it really got us a solid trade return

While I certainly think AJ should keep it in house, I also think he is correct. That route that Patullo had him run on his first TD was trash. Run to the sticks and turn around. It was only backyard football between him and Hurts that the play resulted in a TD. The second TD was schemed up nicely.

They need to get him the ball to him running stride more across the field so he has an opportunity at YAC. More double moves down the field when teams are clearly sitting on the shorter routes. So, to an extent, it may be a good thing that he isn't satisfied. Hopefully, they are looking at that and communicating to continue to improve.

AJ stands up for the WR/TE room so it’s not just about him. DeVonta is too reticent about saying what he thinks so I think AJ takes an older brother role and stands up for him. I don’t like his approach of making everything public, but he isn’t wrong for feeling the way he does.

At least this Vidal kid is fun to watch. That's all I got on this one.

True. However, I feel like the ravens always find ways to lose games they shouldn’t under Harbaugh.

To me its about the zero feel moron calling the plays as pretend OC who clearly is too small for the job.

We could all see that Hurts was on fire thsat day. He was still calling runs into the line, including on 3rd and 5 in the Red Zone.

I'd yell at him in the locker room over that if I was AJ.

I would tell reporters to quote me that a clown calling a run on 3rd and 5 in the red zone should be fired.

I'd call a different play if I was Hurts.

Someone has to be the 32nd ranked OC and its clearly Patullo.

He needs serious help or the offense just needs to revolt and call their own plays.

One last thing about Siri's feelings since Patullo is a friend.

To paraphrase Siri's own wife after fans booing in a preseason game got Siri the sad feelings.

" F your feelings, give them something to cheer about."

lol

What a time

Maybe take Wentz out of the game there coach. Unless you wanna see his arm fall off.

Weird that just after coming off a perfect rating where the run game did zip multiple posters feel the need to belittle hurts🤷‍♂️

Not to belittle Hurts, but it was far from perfect. After an opening drive TD the offense completely sputtered again for 4 consecutive drives the remainder of the first half.

Kudos to Hurts for putting up 326 yards passing while not running with the ball at all, but he really took what the defense gave him. Flores has done a very poor job the past few weeks and he allowed both Brown and Smith to torch his defense without adjusting. Hurts made a great throw to Devonta Smith on the deep route that he essentially air-balled the week before against the Giants

That was the worst Abbott and Costello skit I ever heard with every moron involved with the telecast showing and saying that this nobody played on Minnesota last year.

Maybe say University of?

Maybe say Gophers?

Maybe say Big 10?

Retire Wentz...this is sad and pathetic

Wentz completely imploded tonight. I get that Vikings fans thought O'Connel was doing the same thing as last year with Darnold. However, Darnold has been really good in Seattle and after 2 or 3 decent games Wentz has come crashing back down to earth over the last two. I'm not a Wentz guy but I even thought it was sad watching him play tonight because the talent is/was there but something is just off with him. That INT on the throw to Jefferson was just horrendous.

I agreed with not resigning Darnold; people forget very quickly Darnold sewered the Vikings chances last season with two awful performances against the Lions, when every other team was torching the Lions’ decimated defense. He reverted to Jets Sam Darnold when the games got important.

The Vikings biggest mistake has been a really bad evaluation of how far along JJ McCarthy isn’t in his development. Wentz is a backup at this point and has been better than McCarthy has looked so far. They needed to sign serious competition for McCarthy at QB, although I don’t think anyone could do much better than Wentz with how bad the Vikings OL has been.
