Whats going on in the nba is the tip of the iceberg, but don’t worry they’ll find a way to save face too much money involved.I'm naive, but not that naive to think that betting hasn't been happening in sports for decades. However, something really weird is happening and sports gambling is a huge part of it. You can gamble in gas stations now, there are gaming parlors up and down busy shopping districts and anyone with a cell phone, which is everyone, can gamble at any given time of day. I challenge you to watch a game without Fan Duel, DraftKings or BetMGM having multiple commercials, ticker sponsorships, or even on field/court sponsorships. Pre game shows discuss the over/under and point spreads sometimes more than the matchups themselves and lastly, there are entire shows and networks devoted to sports gambling. The NBA gambling scandal hit this week and all of the sudden, the NCAA approves college athletes to bet on professional sports starting November 1st? How can anyone think that's a good idea and why in the world did the NCAA move so swiftly to make this happen...in the middle of college football season. Not only am I going be quicker to second guess games being played and officiated fairly, but now you're opening up addiction to thousands of NCAA athletes. Absolutely nothing good can come from this. For decades upon decades, gambling has been thought of as addictive and destructive. There's a reason they have gambling addiction hotlines. We're becoming a society that is controlled by gambling rather than a society that loudly opposes it and wants nothing to do with it. It can and will ruin lives.

People forget Devonta almost had 1,000 yards his rookie season. Devonta is our best route runner (AJ is more about power and one on one). I think we can still have a good offensive performance. Again AJ is very important to this team and people acting like we are better without him I do not agree at all. AJ got here and the Birds were in the Bowl his 1st season. He miss the Bucs playoff game and we got blown out. He comes back and we go to the Super Bowl again. With all that said, I trust Devonta to be a #1. Also Saquon forget about these first7 weeks. It's about Sunday. Let's get this 100 yards rushing. Let's go.I’ve seen people reference Eagles having a losing record without AJ, but never the other factors in those games. AJ inactives - not sure what all 5 are, but here are the ones I can think of. 2023 L vs Tampa playoff game - AJ missing wasn’t the only factor the entire team was a mess and ready to implode.2024L vs Atlanta - Saquon drop away from winning. Defense gave up a td drive in the last minute or soW vs Saints - it was ugly, but they won. Lane, Becton and Smitty all left the game with injury, there was also a missed field goal and questionable decisions by NickL vs Tampa - AJ, Smitty and Lane were out. The defense was a mess.W vs Giants - AJ was out, but so were all the starters.I don’t think those losses can be solely attributed to AJ's absence.

But again if he plays like TO and gives full effort and is healthy I don't trade him for less than an arm and leg. His ultimate goal IMO is to get traded and reup with an extension as he did with the Eagles. Before he's rendered handicapped in Joel Embiid territory and turns 30. It's a singular goal that he and his agent I'm sure are angling for with a last huuuge payday. This has been his MO. Eagles salary cap is not his issue. At least in his mind. He wants DA CASH and more guarantees.

I think my vision and comments have been right on the money. This team is a shell of itself and was stripped way too prematurely and quickly over bad calculations by the GM.You are on hold with WIP Right now arent you?
