AJ Brown's Average Separation: Never anything special and downright terrible in 2025.

https://nextgenstats.nfl.com/stats/receiving/2022/REG/all#average-separation

2022: 2.6 yards - This was 99th including TEs

2023: 2.4 yards - This was 98th

2024: 2.3 yards - This was 127 out of 129

2025: 1.8 yards - This is 6th worst in the entire league but also 21% worse than last year and about 30% worse than 2022.

Its almost like we all saw that the hamstring was bothering him in September but he lied about it and you decided to believe the lie if you could feel good by blaming Hurts.

6ers still undefeated.

Seems like Eagles are trying to drive up a price right now with the Lurie interview and now this Schefter report straight from the Eagles.

True. Tiresome. Boring. Ignorant. Biased. Stupid. Arrogant. Repetitive. Insulting. Wearisome. Makes the Blog a lesser place.

"The Eagles would be willing to listen to any trade offer, but sources believe Philadelphia would not be willing to part with Brown for anything less than a blockbuster offer, which is not expected to be forthcoming."

Yeah.... if they get a first, he's on the next plane out of Philly.

I think it’s likely more than that. Cause i think there’s teams that would give up a 1st. This is what i said earlier today when Diana Rusini reported no one is untradable in Philadelphia. That’s basically true for almost any player anywhere except mahomes and Allen. If you are willing to pay a price anyone is truly available

He just went for 120 something and 2 scores you knucklehead. He’s a top 5 WR in the league. I don’t care what your next gen stats say skippy doo da

There were a lot of people who didnt think Higgins was separating in college. What it looks like when a ball with too much air under it, or an underthrown ball allowing the CB to recover, is a lot different than what it looks like when the WR is actually open, before the ball gets there.

Thats why the eye test is better than a lot of stats. You are right.

For me "stripped” always brings back memories of Sally the Shape, 48 by Tape. Adolescent dreams are fun to reminisce about.

wow. I've thought the same thing when opponents kick those long FGs but that's quite the anomaly. Who are the outliers on the other end of the spectrum to balance that 50/50 out?

@justwinbaby I spent a little time today going through the rest of the league. From 2010 through 2025, LONG field goals (56+) yards against.

As I said Eagles opponents have been successful a ridiculous 14 of 18 times. Other teams that have had "bad" luck are Denver (13 of 15); Buffalo (7 of 8); San Francisco (12 of 18); Carolina (14 of 20); and the Giants (10 of 15). Denver isn't a surprise since they play half their games at altitude. Buffalo is kind of a surprise but eight games is a pretty small sample. Overall, I'd say that the Eagles would rank second only behind the Broncos.

Teams with "good" luck are Jacksonville (only 4 of 19); Kansas City (4 of 13); Baltimore (4 of 13); Raiders (6 of 19); New England (3 of 13); and Tampa Bay (9 of 24).

The one team with "amazing" luck is Pittsburgh. Only 1 of 11 long kicks have been made against them.

@mattwill

Eagles- 34

Giants-17

Nakobe Dean-15+ tackles

Darius Cooper- 135 yards 1 TD

Another no way!

If you want clicks, talk about the Eagles…especially AJ Brown. lol

They’re not trading AJ Brown.

3 1st round picks isn’t worth a 70+ mil dead cap hit - would destroy their cap for next season.

Not to mention, pretty sure most of this is being blown out of proportion.

The only WR I’d flat out take over AJ is Jamar Chase.

Packers the front runners in the trade discussions?

Grumpy old man. Just relax... I am as unoriginal as you here.

I reported yesterday the Eagles have no interest in trading AJ Brown. Adam Schefter reads the blog.

I’m going to start a hunger strike on Monday until they lose; seeing as they play both Monday and Tuesday I doubt I’ll be missing any meals

I would very easily and immediately take 3 firsts for AJ Brown regardless of the cap hit

Take it for what it’s worth
