That is true. AJ Brown when asked if he wants to be here said yes I love Philly it's my home. Some people will say "Well, he's just being politically correct." If we can't take a man at his word, but thing truth is gathered by deciphering posts on instagram, then we've lost the plot. As I've mentioned before, driven by toxic social media cultural norms.

Speaking of AJ, the Eagles had the biggest win of the season, did so many things well, and WIP has spent the entire morning and afternoon talking about getting rid of him. And they want to act like they aren't the drivers of this discourse.

If you think back to last year and Nolan Smith's development in his 2nd year you can see some real similarities with the timing of Hunt's progress. If Hunt continues along the same path that Smith took last year we should be in for a really nice 2nd half of the season.

Eagles did very well and dominated, there's no debating that. They did what they needed to do.

With that said, I'm not making any sweeping statements based off the game yesterday. An already bad secondary was missing it's top two CB's and it's best S. They should and did throw all over them. But that doesn't mean they don't need AJ Brown in the offense or for in future games when the level of competition is going to be greater. It was great to see the run game get going but it also should have. It was against a bottom 3 team against the run.

They did what we wanted to see. Dominate a lesser team. Let's see if they can use it as a building block for the second half of the season.

Man! Wanna win as bad as anyone here. Just call it like I see it. You do realize they played a minor league defensive secondary yesterday and missing Skattebo and Nabers? They can't survive all that. No one can. Don't get sucked in and get too high on this victory. Still got a lot of work to do to get where you have to go. Yes a feel good victory. Did it cure all that ails here? Don't think so. We need reinforcements here outside the roster. CB for sure. DT is thin. Howie has to correct this shabby offseason some.

Ray Didinger was on the morning show and was asked about AJ Brown and I think they were expecting(hoping?) he continued on with the hysterics, but he had the most measured take on it you possibly can, aligns with what I've been saying(which is a good indicator he's right if he aligns with me). Here is a clip. Sensible, measured, not buying into hysteria.

This doesn't make sense. Nothing has gone perfectly right and they are 6-2.

If we trade AJ I’d expect it be for no less than a 2nd round pick and player who can contribute immediately.

They were 10-1 two years ago. And not that good of a team. You could see the way they were playing so uneven that it would come back and bite them. Not that this season is the same. But, I'm evaluating this team on what I see as potential fatal flaws to winning a Superbowl. Why would anyone think differently than this?

If you want something to worry about then I’d say Nolan Smith. I don’t know what a setback is on a torn triceps that isn’t a re-tear which doesn’t magically heal in 6 weeks. But I’m not a doctor

Drake Maye is considered right there with Jonathan Taylor for MVP buzz.

His entire schedule has been against minor league defenses.

Now see how this team has done vs those top 9 teams.

Mine would be Philly KC Denver Green Bay Detroit Rams Tampa Indy NE Buffalo

Now find another team that is even close to as good as the Eagles vs good teams.

Detroit has 1 win vs top teams, Tampa, and it was in Detroit, not hot Tampa.

Green Bay has only beaten Detroit.

Denver beat Philly due to AJ quitting and the refs throwing the game at the end. (no call on obvious PI)

KC beat Detroit and lost to Philly.

New England beat the Bills and the Bills have beaten no one.

Philly beat Rams, Tampa, KC, and barely lost to Denver (because AJ was sad)

You can make it 12 and include Seattle and the Chargers, it won't change much.

To me these were the biggest Eagles problems in a bumpy 6-2 that could have been 8-0.

• Jalen Carter missed 2 games (hes a top 25 player in the league)

• Cam and Landon have played lots of snaps while physically unable to be good, let alone great.

• Matt Pryor was a wrecking ball for his own team. (not a thing now)

• The OC is a fool. (They are getting him towards competent / working around him / telling him what to do)

• They did not have a blocking TE 2. They do now. His name is Fred. He is large.

• AJ Dillon was not great and he injured 2 lineman (We have a Tank now)

They will be more fresh after the bye week. Toth was way above expectations but also far better than Cam getting shoved backwards 3 yards in the run game on repeat)

Maybe AJ is humbled by what happened without him or they just make the turd a 3rd option and feed DeVonta and Goedert to go with the run game.

I'm very optimistic going into the bye while fully realizing that the Giants are bad.

DCx2, Dallas, Vegas, and Chicago are also bad. That's 5 of 9.

Buffalo is a mess on D and Allen looks mediocre. Not worried.

The Chargers don't get home games when they play Philly, Pittsburgh, etc. Philly is the better team and louder fans in LA. Also, Herbert.

Detroit will be tough but they get them in Philly and I will take Hurts over Goff every time.

Green Bay? The Eagles own Jordan Love so far in his career. He looks pretty good vs everyone else and not so much vs Philly.

I would be concerned if the Eagles had to face the 1984 49ers, 1985 Bears, and the 2007 Patriots in the playoffs.
