The fact it's taking this long tells me something is going on vs a fine. Maybe they want him gone another game and will make it 2 so when it's appealed it goes to one or if he misses the Chiefs game (which you know the league wants) it goes down to 1. This is utter BS, though. You can see Dak clearly laughing and smirking after spitting towards Carter. He was an idiot for retaliating but to give him more is ridiculous. Dolphins are a 💩 show and probably wanted out. And don't know what the heck they're doing. This guy on a great defense will have a nice role at slot and at this point great against the run and average at the pass. Monumental upgrade overall if you move Cooper to CB2. He may just have to be do a Cam Jurgens move where moves to one position for the year where he's needed and then goes back to original position. If they suspend Carter for 1-2 games, he will definitely appeal. I read somewhere the appeal would be decided by Wednesday if they rule today, but not sure if that us accurate.

No player has ever been suspended for spitting on an opponent. If they try it now, it is a clear sign this is retribution for the Brotherly Shove.

I was thinking about this last night; I think they play Russ the first 3 games and -- if it continues to look like Week 1 -- they have a decision to make whether to start the Jaxson Dart era after Week 3 or try in vain to salvage something by going to Jameis for a few games. If he's inclined to start Winston at all he pretty much has to demote Wilson to 3rd string.

I think given that Dart is listed as 2nd on the depth chart they would move straight to Dart; the question is whether Wilson even dresses on game days or not.
