The irony of those decisions, in hindsight, is not picking JJ lead to a review of the pro side of the team that changed the team fundamentally. THe joy of those conversations is the Eagles may have missed out on that WR with Reagor, but the overall 53 roster has been significantly better than than the Vikes overall.

Funny how life works eh?

They also traded us a 1st for Checkdown Sammy Bradford. Not sure they should be laughing to loudly.

I believe he's wearing a brace on his shoulder. How effective will he be?

I just want to say I'm very grateful for you posters, and the board in general. News and social media has me exhausted to the point that I need to take a break. I'm really glad a place like this exists. That's all.

You're welcome!

I definitely think Ojomo is a jag. He's not going to be disruptive. He's going to generally hold his ground. Nothing more nothing less. Davis can and ideally will consistently be much more. He also can be less.

Ojomo is a snap eater.

It will be interesting to see how well this post ages. I suppose you could end up being right, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

That will slightly limit his range of motion and slightly slow him down in reaching for a ball.

In all likelihood no noticeable difference to us.

If mahomes gives him an inaccurate ball and he misses it by fingertips, then you can possibly thank the brace.

Snap eater just sounds like a great insult, though -- even away from football.

I'd bet if I said it to 4 random people on the street, at least one of them would want to fight.

Let's wait a few weeks, shall we?

Williams is very athletic but short arms, learned how to compensate, but always an issue on run downs.

Ojhomo is also a top athlete for DE, more of a 3-4 DE build but two years of NFL training has added strength. Much longer than Williams.

They saw Ojomo, Hall, Young, and Booker last year and in pre-season, so I think Fangio had a good feel for who fit.

Booker playing well for the Raiders just shows our depth.

If Davis is for real, then Carter/Davis will be the best DT pair in the NFL, Davis is an unreal athlete, conditioning was always an issue, but at 330 lbs, 1.68 10 yard split 32" VT, 10'2 horizontal (ridiculous, better than Baun posted) - if he's finally putting it together . . .

In that case, you're just rotating Young, Smith and Ojomo for the other 3-4 DE/DT snaps.

You all were right. I was wrong again.

Was a just rebound guy.

At least it was Walt Chamberlain level of rebounding.

Here are two consecutive plays against the Turds:

The first is a 2-4-5 or, if you prefer, a 4-2-5. I opt for the former because the outside guys do not line up in a 3-point stance.

The second is, I would argue, a 3-4-4 or, if you prefer a 5-2-4. Again, the two outside guys are in 2-point stances.

The thing that amazes me is no matter much things change... the more they stay the same.

The first is still very much an 'even' front, from the past.

The second is still very much an 'odd' front, from the past.

The first is still lined up almost exaclty like the old 4-3.

The second is still lined up almost exactly like the old 3-4, or even the old 5-2, since the OLBs are up on the line.

Same here. Its one thing I always tell my team. Mistakes happen, but its what we do after the mistake that's most important. Doesn't always work, but I don't want them being cautious in fear of mistakes

You learn more from your failures than your successes.

And there it is. The death knell for the NBA. The Commissioner just said that the actual GAMES aren't worth watching anymore. I'm glad that I was ahead of the curve on that one. The game has become more and more unwatchable to me over the past 20 years or so. 3's and dunks, that's just about all there is anymore.

Well, Manfred and Bettman are out there, so you can't call him the WORST commissioner in North American major pro sports.

He has 0 career Regular season sacks right now. Will see. People jumped the gun with Ojomo a little bit. I like Booker better right now. Williams became too expensive. And Bennett should be starting by now. So I am concerned about that whole deal.

I like Ojomo. But he's overrated some and hasn't gotten 1 career sack yet. Let's wait a little bit before we crown him. He played with JC a bunch last year. Milton is overpaid, no doubt and we didnt want to cough it up. Still say he's a helluva player without JC.

No one is "crowning" Ojomo. He's a rotational guy along with others. You're upset he doesn't have any sacks in the regular season (he has 1 sack in last year's playoffs), by comparison Jordan Davis has only 3.5 career regular season sacks in 1,184 snaps starting his 5th season. He was a 1st round pick that the Eagles traded up picks to get. Ojomo has only 511 snaps, starting his 3rd season after being drafted in the 7th round.

I'm not sure what is so bad about this. He's being extremely honest. The NBA isn't worth watching anymore. Respect to him for the honest answer. lol
