September 12Sep 12 Hope we spread the offense out this weekend. I like the idea of Darius Cooper blocking a CB/S way more than any of our backup TEs blocking a LB.

In the second half, it seemed like Patullo was set on running the ball out of 12 and 13 personnel into heavy boxes. He forgot that AJ Brown running a slant was a thing. He did not use motion to move the defense. The playcalling was stale and ineffectual. It wasn't about Hurts bailing early on pockets or hanging onto the ball too long. The problems with the offense seemed structural more than on Hurts.I have no complaints about Hurt’s performance, I don’t want him throwing the ball a lot or in contested situations. The conservative approach is proven, and works toward his strengths. The rest of the offensive roster is supposed to be top tier, and the new OC should be able to move the pieces around so that we aren’t relying on Jalen’s individual heroics to squeeze by a mediocre team. Like I said before, using the QB like that is like taking $ out of the bank and the offense will be broke by the end of the season if this mode isn’t changed.
September 12Sep 12 Okay yes the packers have looked good after two weeks, and yes we hadn’t football in over 200 days but the hot take merchant's are already crowning the packers. Last I checked you don’t win the Super Bowl in September.

Id just like to see it be better so we dont have to worry every week if itll be juuuust enough with a couple key 1st down scrambles mixed in to extend drives that are far more painfully difficult than they need to be.

We are in the most successful period of Eagles football. You're just continue to hate on Hurts and refuse to come to reality with the great QB we have that has been leading all of this winning.
September 12Sep 12 cool historical perspective re: Jalen Carter. Before my time…Side note - how the heck do I resize this?

Block better, run better, get wide open or schemed open, etc. Let Jalen make safe throws at a sufficient average depth of target, so the machine can rumble on.

But, after that putrid passing attack last week, Im not sure we have enough offense. That leaves me feeling uneasy about our prospects of winning.

They are so much more involving … so much more entertaining. They capture much larger audience.
