To be fair... according to AI it is below average

The team getting a win is below average?

That's too specific to be a coincidence

In Green Bay’s case, white is their uniform color.

Yup, he's more RG3 than Hurts. He needs to be careful with the kind of hits he takes. Lamar is smart about it, Daniels is not. He needs to learn before it's too late

I feel this in my bones. I have that catastrophic injury feeling and I hate it. Hope it never happens to the kid.

Isn’t being worried part of the DNA of Philadelphia sports fans?

After experiencing so many heartbreaking moments before the 2017 season, it’s not easy to get that out of the DNA. It’s definitely gotten better, but gone it is not.

What, pray tell, should he have done to satisfy you?

I was completely satisfied. That still doesn't mean we can pretend he threw for a lot of yards. Let's just be honest about it.

Still no Goedert practicing which means he's likely out. No Shipley or McKee either.

I have always loved Goedert but we need to move on next year. He misses too many games and is starting to age now.

We said that the last 3 years

Big difference from his post game locker interview where he said they played some and shaded coverage towards him but it's nothing he hasn't seen before.

As in- no reason he shouldn't have been getting the ball.

Now that he's cooled off he's delivering the company lines.

Or maybe he just went back and looked at the film and realized that he really was essentially double covered all game. Of course he is emotional and disappointed just after the game as that is who he is and we all know that (so does he).

Yeah I know. I gave it until last year when I was ready for the change.

It’s funny how 221 yards sounds like a lot of passing yards to eagles fans in the Jalen Hurts era.

I usually consider 200 the Mendoza line in football as well, last week was a weird week where a majority of the winning QB state lines fell below that it seemed.

@mattwill

Eagles 30

Chiefs 23

Bonus: Hurts 2 passing TDs

Extra bonus: Heartbreak sucks

He knew he was and said it wasn't anything they haven't seen before. As you would expect an elite WR would be seeing all the time.

There is a difference between the Mendoza line for doing "enough" vs actually throwing for a lot of yards.

Mendoza line in baseball is .200. When a player hits .220 i dont think everyone starts pretending he is a great hitter. I guess unless that player would be Jalen Hurts. Seems like .150 would be an absolutely great average.

Nastygram

On the subject on the Phillies current hot streak. They've lost Zack Wheeler for the remainder of the season, more recently lost both Turner and Bohm to the IL, and they just keep rolling. I'm not sure what their record is since Turner and Bohm have been out, but its been ridiculous. I know they are 12-3 since the sweep by the Mets at Citi Field.

Last night they put up 8 runs on a decent KC Royals team (currently at 0.500). And their lineup featured Harrison Bader leading off, Brandon Marsh batting 4th, Otto Kemp 5th and Kepler 6th. They are just getting contributions from everyone right now. It is something to watch.

Sure, and you'd expect an elite receiver to have some frustration directly after the game. No issue.

A guy in the 3rd or 4th slot in the lineup with a .210 avg 45 hrs and 130 rbis is doing just fine. Same for a QB who is on a 17 game winning streak and getting 200 yards passing and 50 yards rushing a game with minimal turnovers. Just win baby!

People have been trying to make AJ Brown a diva and a problem for 3 years and he signed an extension and loves being here. Plenty of players express frustration at times. Kelce, Lane Johnson, others over the years but they don't get the same reaction. Fangio openly criticizes players in the media and everyone loves it.

Well, that IS the issue.

If he knows he is seeing coverages he has beat before, and knows he should be getting the ball. And wants to be one of the greats, but his QB isnt helping him accumulate states to prove that he is, of course he is going to be upset.

Since this whole discussion is about needing to have a better passing game than in week 1, your 200 passing yard stat is incorrect. Id be pretty happy to get to that.
