I don't know, didn't see it but also wasn't really scanning poster names.

They do still have a "cowards and traitors" forum that the mods move people to and limit them from posting elsewhere, this is for fans who doubt the team and post negatives about them. If they did that here there would be no one left! roll

"luvvy" was the lady Chiefs fan who posted in WU for some time. Were you posting in WU at that point?

A guy in the 3rd or 4th slot in the lineup with a .210 avg 45 hrs and 130 rbis is doing just fine. Same for a QB who is on a 17 game winning streak and getting 200 yards passing and 50 yards rushing a game with minimal turnovers. Just win baby!

Don’t you think a player’s primary obligation should be to all of his fans who start him regularly in their fantasy football leagues and are expecting solid contributions every week? Actually winning games for the teams that pay his salary should pale in comparison to that, right?

yeah, that't it 🤣

We're talking a QB who has had two of the best PASSING performances in 2 SBs of all time.

Now that's not a huge sample, but if Hurts can light it up under the biggest pressure situation, he can light it up on a regular basis.

But what was the situation, 1st game, 5 new starters on defense, your top defensive player gets tossed.

So game plan was obviously shorten the game, they didn't know how many snaps Davis could handle.

Shorten game, 10-15 fewer snaps on offense, more conservative, run out the clock drives.

This ain't rocket science.

This is what annoys me the most about Hurts. He has shown he CAN pass at a high level, he just doesn't most of the time. So we COULD be just blowing teams out regularly, or at least winning more comfortably, but we don't because I guess he just picks and chooses when he wants to be an above average passer.

Look at that list of more passing yards last year than Hurts, and all the success they had.

Baker Mayfield, Geno Smith, Sam Darnold, Brock Purdy, Kyler Murray, wow! Those guys are real winners.

Interesting cherry picking of names.

Mahomes, Burrow, Jackson, Allen, Stafford also had more yards.

When you are at #20 on the list... more than half of the NFL is above you. So, yeah, there will be names of mediocre and even a couple bad QBs... but pretty much all the great ones too. There is no point here. The data of passing yards isn't a great predictor of success. But, it is by no means a predictor of mediocrity or bad play either, which seems to be what you are trying to reference. Or maybe you were trying to say that it was a meaningless stat. If so, I think there's better ways to make that point than with this type of post.

It is pretty clear that he changed his approach to the game to limit turnovers after the bad start last year. Instead of throwing into situations that result in a turnover, he is choosing to protect the ball. Yeah, it may not look amazing but it has produced results. And we know he can pass at a high level when necessary. Personally, all I care about is wins.

Official. Hopefully Adoree Jackson can show up against lesser competition. Get him some confidence.

I'd suggest everyone watch football games and pay attention to passing stats and situation.

Jayden Daniels is worshiped. He passed for about 119 yards at the end of the game vs Green Bay. He took 4 sacks for -21 and he ran for 16 yards.

That's a net 114 yards in an NFL game. He was GARBAGE.

Then he got onto the field with 6:42 and he showed his belly to Green Bay and decided to get stats instead of trying to win.

Everything was in the middle to kill clock. He ran for a yard to take another 25 seconds off the clock.

He was working for the Packers from 6:42 to the end of the game.

Could they get a miracle 2 onsides kick recoveries? The odds are about the same that you win the lottery without a ticket.

So instead of risking an interception by actually pushing the ball down the field for a 10% chance of winning he decided on the 0.05% chance of winning instead.

Hurts is 10x better than Jayden Daniels at football. He would actually try to win the game.

Those 86 passing yards and a passing TD were worthless. Hurts does the opposite. He plays well the first 54 minutes so they run the ball at the end and now he is 80-100 yards and a TD behind losers.

Based on Thursday's game, Hurts is on a pace to be a 1000+ rusher with 34 rushing TDs while completing 86% of his passes and he's getting criticism for being a perfect 19 for 19 on passes that were not drops or throwaways. They scored on their first 4 drives into the 3rd quarter. They would have had more drives but the D lost Jalen Carter and kept giving the Cowboys drive extensions with 15 yard penalties or OPI.

Then a bizarre 1 hour + rain delay happened. The Eagles had the worst player on the field at guard because he could not move after the delay.

Hurts was pressured about 44% of the time, bottom 5 for pass protection in week 1.

They got stupid ultra-conservative on a pair of 2nd and 1s and a 2nd and 2 when you can easily pass on a sell out vs the run D.

Then like 30% of Jalen Hurts games, the 2 minute drill at the end of the game involves kneeling. I believe the NFL record for passing yards on 3 kneel downs is zero.

Instead of kneeling to win the games, they should have aired it out for stats to appease the media and ignorant fans.

It's because they keep a strait jacket on him!

🤪

Stafford led his team to 14 points all day. He only won because the Texans gonna Texan with a fumble in the red zone late in the 4th.

The Stafford narrative after 14 points was clutch throws and mastery at the QB position.

They are the 23/20 offense with a luck/defense win.

The media loves Los Angeles. They love Stafford. They love celebrity Rams fans. Philly, not so much...

BTW I love the CeeDee drops narrative while ignoring the Dak picks that were dropped.

Its like those epic heroes the 2024 Rams who "woulda coulda shoulda if" but pay no attention to Jake missing an extra point.

Stafford led his team to 7-6 after 13 games last year. His D then carried him to wins of 12-6, 19-9, and 13-6.

Stafford passed for 160, 110, and 189 with 1 TD and 1 pick over those 3 weeks. His team scored 3 total TDs in 3 weeks.

That's how they made the playoffs. What a legend!

Those 3 straight Stafford wins while leading his team to less than 20 points are more than Hurt's career total of 2 (New Orleans last year and Indy in 2022)

Why is throwing for a lot of yards important? Isn’t winning what is important? If we’re being honest …

Ifacepalm
