Been absorbing a lot of what is wrong with the offense talk this week. My two cents...

Week 1 was the first real game for the offense. They had camps and joint practices, but this was the first performance.

Week 2 was against a chaotic defense in a hostile stadium. I had no issues with the risk avoidance.

This is the first week we can begin determine what the offense can be.

Clement looks yoked

The Eagles have one weak link in the secondary with Adoree. The Rams best CB is Forbes who absolutely blows. If McVay can scheme a way to having an explosive passing attack vs the Eagles secondary but the Eagles can throw the ball against the Rams then something is very seriously wrong unless Hurts is under duress the whole game or Barkley is killing it on the ground so much they don't need to throw it. Frankly, if they can't or don't pass it this week it would be quite alarming.

Woke up today, picked up my magic 8 ball, and asked 'Is Roger Goodell still a **** a s s b I a t c h?'

'Without a doubt' it replied.

Regarding the Brotherly Shove......

I know some are complaining about the Eagles, more specifically their Guards, getting off the ball early. I've never noticed this before so is it something they've always done? Not to mention the replays are in slow motion so if they moved a split second early it looks alot worse in slow motion. In real time it doesnt look that obvious. I bet if you slow motioned every snap in the NFL you'd see a ton of early movement.

The OL goes as soon as the center starts his snap. They are not off-side when they do this. People have complained about Lane jumping the snap, and Peters before him. Then they went to the film and determined they were not moving early. It did look like the guards may have moved early on the last TD but it was impossible to see Jurgens' hands so I can't say for sure.

Oh my god. Just paid my credit cards for the month. I ended up paying nearly $300 on beer at the Eagles home opener. That rain delay was dangerous.

That’s pretty steep - might want to invest in one these for when the weather turns.

Wow that's wild.

I'm needing a reach around from the cute waitress to justify that bill.

Those things are awesome!

Love the home uni this week, the White Jerseys/Green Pants.

Regarding the TP, how about our O have some plays based off of that formation, but yet not run the TP?? A reverse, a TE pop pass, a quick slant to AJ after a fake, a fake to an RB and then Jalen keeps it for an outside run, hand the ball off to an RB, etc.......c'mon! Use it to get creative and blow the NFL away with the Non-TP TP!

Soccer players are running nonstop for 45 minute halves. Try running steadily for 45 minutes.

Then add in intermittent sprinting, and do so while dribbling a ball with your feet and kicking accurate passes and shots on goal.

Kept me pretty loose for the 2005 nfc championship- that game was one of the colder one’s I experienced as the recent snow had converted to ice and the wind was relentless.

Am I old or do they try to make the Q and O look exactly the same?

Competitive advantage.

You’re old!

But apparently, I am too. I had to zoom in.

"One of the colder ones” implies there may have been an even colder one. Man, I don’t know about that!

You’ve been going to games longer than me, so wanted to give some leeway.

It’s not just you

While I don’t recall exact temps, I do recall Reid’s first ever playoff game, the 21-3 win over Tampa in the 2000 WC was the coldest I can recall. The 2 NFCCGs against Tampa and Atlanta were of course up there too.

I don't have much to base this off of but I think they were a little too early against the Chiefs than usual, probably due to crowd noise. Andy was complaining about it and he wasn't watching in slow motion. I also think they would have showed it a lot before in previous games if they were often early.

Problem now is I have no doubt the NFL is going to instruct the refs to watch like hawks and call it without leeway. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we see a 3rd or 4th and 1 turn into "and 6" on Sunday.

They definitely moved a bit early against the Chiefs but I'm wondering if that has always been the case and people are just now noticing early movement. I saw someone that made a comment on a YT video saying theirs videos going around that show they move early all the time. Not sure if there's any truth to that or just someone making something up on the internet.

I was saying last week that guarantee the refs will start marking them short on shove plays just so they can say we cant tell where the ball is. Unless the Eagles clearly and without a doubt move the ball past the 1st down line, they will start doing this.

NFL might convince Pete Morelli to come out of retirement to ref Eagles games just because they know he loves screwing them over.

Shawn King game, yup. For the Atlanta game we started tailgating at the Jetro Lot before 10am, so it was a long time out in a sunny but bitterly frigid day. The Tampa game was at 4 iirc, which makes a world of difference.

I think it is or was called the Acme lot when I had tickets, but I was in my lot by 7 or 8 am that Sunday. Definitely bitter cold, and I was in the upper deck so when the wind blew, the snow on the over hang would swirl around and hit us.

What a great day that was! lol.
