I remember the name but dont remember what I thought of him as a prospect.

Looking back, nice size and athleticism. I choose to be optimistic if he signs to our PS.

Yeah he had alot of late RD1 grades heading into that draft.

Getting out of New Orleans might be the reset he needs. Gladly take a flyer on him here.

He's how crazy week 1 can be (specifically for us as Eagles fans):

  1. I'd put the chances of the Dallas Cowboys having a season that is as good or close to as good as our Eagles at exactly 0%. (almost anyone, biased or not, is going to be in agreement on this).

  2. I'd put the chances of the Dallas Cowboys having a week 1 that is as good or close to as good as our Eagles (so this would include basically any week 1 outcome besides a comfortable Eagles win or blowout) anywhere in the 30-50% range (and most would agree).

That's sort of the way it is each week in the NFL though.

This may sound like an old man take, but I think this should be the standard. Those parking lots are out of control and have too many people taking up spots with their setups who aren’t going to the game. You should have to show your game ticket to park in those lots next to the stadium.

This is really well done and a great debate.

Carter is already better than Patterson, so I'd give him 98.

On the one hand he was a complete bust in NO. On the other, Fangio knows him from 2023.

Patterson as in Mike Patterson, are you Fing kidding me

Full practice for Dickerson and Mukuba is a great sign

Yea, there are quite a few questionable for sure. Patterson was the jaggiest of jags at DT. Connor Barwin is a better 98 than Patterson ever way and Jalen Carter is already there too.

The biggest debate on there is probably #3 for Iverson or Harper. It's probably Iverson, but I can see the argument for Harper too.

On first glance I would say:

#19 -- Rick MacLeish over Luzinski (but that's a close one)

#27 -- Reggie Leach over Hextall; might even put Malcolm Jenkins ahead of Hextall

#31 -- Lindbergh over Wilbert Montgomery

#46 -- Herman Edwards?? (Blankenship in a number he rented -- seriously??)

Time to trigger a baseball fan with 11 and 26.

I don't think any of it matters at all, which makes it all silly. Being out there doesn't matter. Not being out there doesn't matter. Refusing to admit if you put the ring on during the offseason doesn't matter. Not wearing the ring during the offseason doesn't matter.

Not that it's a distraction but it feels like just jumping through unnecessary hoops with all this nonsense.

Oh and I guess the rent still hasn't been paid.

When is that honor given to JC…

Gotta wonder if Mukuba manages to get the start now.

Didn't seem like there was much chance before today.

This is technically a Friday practice. Aren't they usually walk throughs?

Yesterday.

More specifically after the Rams playoff game.

Schmidt over Dawkins is a good debate. There is merit for both of them but I would agree that Schmidt gets the edge. Choosing Roy Halladay over Charles Barkley is wrong. I would also suggest that Dave Brown merits more consideration for number 21 over Embiid.

I would really doubt it. He's missed about the same time as DeJean did last year between his shoulder injury and hamstring injury. I think down the line in a few weeks it will be his job but not out of the gate.

Any fans in the UK planning to watch the game in Passyunk on Thursday? 😊

Here's hoping 🤞

I guess I just see the Cowboys as the Bengals of the NFC. Zero defense so they go full air raid by the end of the game with plenty of garbage time points to make games look closer than they are.

I don’t expect Fangio’s Defense to give up any garbage time points (easy points) prior to the Bye Week.

Eagles 29, Turds 19.

I'm going to agree with others that it'll be a sloppily played game (a lot of early season games now are ragged league-wide with starters playing very little in the preseason). Eagles will either get way up early and let their feet off or have to win late after a sluggish start. I'd be a bit alarmed if this isn't a win, though.

Bonus -- Eagles get a pick 6.

Season record -- 12-5. Might be another 2-2 start with road games @ KC and TB in the first 4 weeks.

I would take DeSean Jackson over Larry Bowa.

Larry Bowa is an all time Philadelphia anthlete and good guy - all respect to him but he wouldn’t make the current Phillies roster over Trea Turner.

Good defender, exceptionally long and relatively productive career - and played the SS position well for his era but 15 career HR’s over a 19 year career wouldn’t cut it in today’s game.

DJax on the other hand, was a game breaker and potentially the best (or one of the best) big play WR’s of all time.
