Now, do I watch the Phillies game, hoping that they can pull off a similarly epic comeback, or just call it a day?

Today was the first time in almost 25 years of marriage that I got scolded by my wife for my reaction to a football game- I had gotten out of my chair to stand, coping with what I was certain was the inevitable last second loss, but as soon as that FG was blocked I started screaming so much that my dog started trembling (possibly because he thought we were under attack)

Winning doesn’t and shouldn’t negate the negative

No, there are problems. But why ONLY focus on the negative after a win? I just scrolled your posts and all you're doing is complaining and being negative.

Fox immediately went back to the studio guys after the game and Howie's first comment was about the 1st half offense being bad. Strahan - former Giant and rival - rolled his eyes at him and said really? They just won and had a huge FG block and TD by Davis and the 1st half offense is the first thing you talk about?

I think within an hour of the victory you can enjoy it. Obviously the team needs to address certain issues

So, you are saying that people are correct in talking about things, just that you disagree with the timing?

Not worth watching the Phillies. Feels like they are just going though the motions in this game. Still got to win 3 to clinch a bye.

That wasn't "rumbling and stumblin" that was a flat out sprint.

Davis ran a 4.78 at 330 lbs at the combine. Which is insane. As was his 1.63 ten yard split.

All big men rumble and stumble when they run. It’s just the nature of being a fatty boombatty.

Bennett was bullied like a kid in school

He was struggling, but he was put in a very tough spot. Puka is one of the best and they were fighting for their lives right there.

People can do what they want. Of coure the teams has flaws and those flaws are open to discussion. My opinion is if you can't at least spend some time reveling in victories and enjoying them then what are you watching for?

So, you are comparing @Mike030270 to Howie Long? He should be honored.

Caleb is playing like he got a horrid scolding in the film room.

YES because it's 1 play. They make the FG and we lose the game

Davis today: has Eagles only sack; made the great stop on 4th down at midfield in the 4th qtr, blocked 2 critical FGs in the 4th qtr, scored a TD.

Rams oline was pretty good, except every single time when it really mattered.

Also a great play chasing down Stafford

Imagine hating your team's QB so much that you live to criticize him, even when he starts making pass plays and scores TDs and leads a comeback, and then disappear after the team WINS.

Clear as day that an Eagles comeback win wasn't what they were hoping for.

Chargers have the worst injury luck

TBH he looked extremely streamlined and accurate for a man of his size. Quite impressive.

And Jalen threw a beauty of a TD to Goedert down the seam. Would love to see more of that.

The question is why? Better prepare your team, bro. Why isn't he practicing at RT?

Say you're gambling and you lose a few times and are in the hole. Then, things start to turn around. You get some wins here and there. Then the winnings get bigger and you're up a lot. People are gathered around you celebrating with you. Then, you hit big and walk away with a huge stack.

And then all your friends ignore the winning and immediately they're only talking about earlier in the night when you lost some rounds. You would be like, didn't you just see me crush the last couple hours and win all this money? Let's celebrate.

The 1st half was awful (there was one good drive that included pass plays and TD). The 2nd half was great. So you have two halves, let's call them equal. Equally bad and good in each half. It's the pessimist/optimist glass half full/half empty argument. Why be miserable and only talk about the bad 1st half. Or downplay the 2nd half but then go on more rants about the 1st half?

Has Jalen Carter shown up on the stat sheet yet this season?

He blocked the first FG.
