September 4Sep 4 It was an interesting editorial decision to leave out the Rams comeback attempt, but I understand why they did it.Of course they only have so much time, that's probably the number one reason. But the story of the Eagles season wasn't them barely holding on in that game. That game was the exception to an otherwise dominant run. Also, IMO, the Eagles were clearly the better team and the only reasons that game was close was 1. the snow and 2. the Eagles thought it was over and let their guard down.

As a fan they were the perfect trophy games, I could just get happily drunk safe in the knowledge it was never in doubt.

They didn’t have to quote Hurts about getting the scoring started in that game. They didn’t need Barkley talking about how that run in the snow took him back to his Penn State days. They could have cut out Baun talking about Barkley telling the team to "stay right here” during the Super Bowl.My thought was the NFL didn’t want to give Carter much screen time because of his issues at Georgia. It’s hard to fit everything in a 42-minute episode, but it was easily the biggest omission.

September 4Sep 4 I was asked to go out of town to cover a girls volleyball match. I couldnt tell work, No. I have to watch TV that night. So, if you guys can all refrain from posting about the game till I get home it is much appreciated.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!

The entire episode was drama free. They also didn't show Nakobe saving the Jags game or that the Cleveland game was close. For whatever reason they decided to just cover the games an all positive way. The closest to a negative that game was when they said they needed the break and that was just to introduce Baldiani. They didn't show the Saquon drop vs Atl either

I was actually hoping it was, but they skipped over a bunch of games and moments. They somewhat gave us that narrative with the Baldianni era stuff and showing the Bucs score, but they skimmed over a lot.It seemed like they mostly wanted to tell the stories from the perspectives of Nick, Jalen, Zack, and Saquon, so I'm guessing that's why they added those anecdotes and omitted some of the other team moments.I do think they could have touched on it quickly, but I'm guessing they were thinking it would have distracted from the main theme. I'm trying to think back now and I don't think they touched on any real in-game scenarios aside from the Dagger.
September 4Sep 4 The joy and USP of NFL Redzone was the ability to not have to channel hop to find a game to watch amid the many pharmaceutical and pizza commercials. By allowing full ads in it, it becomes nothing special in and of itself, so in reality, you can go and find a YouTube stream or just watch the scores on X and get the same experience. We don't lack for alternatives - where 20 years ago,we did.The best advice is to just not bother so viewing figures go down, but the spice is a powerful drug

Also, coaches dont ever get to question them. Parents dont know the rules. No one in the stands if ever yelling at them. There are not very many calls they need to make. Line calls are actually left up to other students/players who are volunteered as corner judges. There is no controversy. Ridiculously easy, and well paying job.
September 4Sep 4 I am conflicted right now. I have a no Dallas rule for my fantasy football team except, I dont mind having their kicker because if he does well it may mean theyve settled for a lot of FGs. I have Jake Elliott, but Aubrey just got dropped in my league.I think Im going to stick with Jake...
September 4Sep 4 @mattwill Eagles 22- 17Overall record 12-5Too much rust. The game is going to be similar to last year's GB slopfest. It is going to take a couple of weeks to get everything humming. I will be watching the DL very closely.

I don’t see how highlighting what he did would be considered a negative. It was the single biggest defensive play of the entire season.
